Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Davenport, a congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, was founded in 1902, the fruits of the missionary labors of Pastor A.H.P. Since then, Holy Cross has switched from German to English, moved to a larger building on Locust and Eastern, expanded that building twice, baptized thousands into the kingdom of God, and borne faithful witness to the Gospel of Jes

us Christ. Through it all, during good times and bad, God has upheld His people through His Word and Spirit. We pray His continued blessing upon us and the community He's called us to serve—especially that He would grant us faithfulness unto death, and finally bring us to Himself in heaven.
