Tonight was an amazing time of fellowship and relationship-building as our senior adults joint-hosted our first next-gen night with our young adults/singles for fun, food, and Bingo! With at least 94 in attendance (some arrived after we finished counting), we greeted, met, co-mingled, and shared life together for 2 full hours! Thank you, young adults, for joining us seniors. We've been challenged for our next time together to be "limbo night". The jury is still out for that one, but we're ready to come together again!

With 70+ seniors gathering today for our Sock Hop, collecting socks for a shelter that serves the homeless and families, we had a great time. On that theme, our devotional centered on "Dancing in the Streets" that addressed many of the Bible passages about joyful and worshipful dancing. Pizza, popcorn, root beer floats, and lots of other 50s-60s food and music, we had a great time of fellowship!

Thanksgiving to New Year's is a busy time for all of us. We are now back in full-swing on our weekly Thursday fellowship meetings and our 4th Friday ForEVER READY Nights schedule.

A wonderful day of fellowship and thankfulness today. We reflected on not just what we are thankful for, but on WHO the ONE is who gives all those blessings to us. And, of course, thankful for our horn of plenty - no one left hungry!

Next Thursday, back to our normal fellowship meeting as we wrap up our 4th and final session on Lifestyle Stewardship - building our final legacy! Next Thursday, 10A-12:30pm

Join us tomorrow (11/20) for our weekly senior adult fellowship at Cornerstone Church as we look at our third lesson in our Lifestyle Stewardship series: a good and faithful steward is about God-honoring relationships.

The entire Christian life is building and strengthening relationships with God and with others. It is NOT about what we do, what we "earn" or how hard we work. No, it is about how we relate to God and to people through the two greatest commandments: Love the Lord your God with your entire being, and to love others as yourself (Luke 10:27).

Our first week recognized that God owns everything and it is He who has given His children the task of being stewards (managers) over all He owns and all that He has given to us.

Next, was how God measures our "success" as good and faithful stewards - not by our efforts or by our increase, but by being faithful in our obedience to Him. Just as with the parable of the talents, it is God who gives the increase according to our abilities and faithfulness (also see 1 Corinthians 3:6-8).

Our 4th and final lesson (12/4) in our mini-series will look at how believers build their earthly and eternal legacy through being a good and faithful steward. It's all about who we are, who we become.

This past week at ForEVER READY Fellowship was awesome! Between Thursday morning and Friday night, we had an amazing time of fellowship, fun, and, of course, food!

Friday night Bible Trivia Challenge from the book of Esther truly became competitive as we engaged in our first Battle of the Sexes! Everyone was fully engaged and things stayed tight right to the final segment!

We also introduced our 2026 events. We are an active bunch of Christian seniors and we love to do things, go places, and share life with each other!

This next week, we have many in our fellowship heading to Israel with others from our church. Praying for their safe travels and for a wonderful time of seeing things that many of us only read about in Scripture!

In December, we trek out on our 8-day Eastern Caribbean Cruise, back in time for Christmas.

And all of these events are in addition to our weekly time together where friendships are built and fellowship is strengthened. If you are a Christian senior adult looking to build strong relationships and be part of something amazing, check us out.

Last Thursday was our first ever 'Open Share' day, sharing testimonies of God's goodness and faithfulness in our lives. More than just a form of worshipping God, hearing how God is working in the lives of our people encourages others to stay the course, knowing God is actively working on our behalf.

Have you ever doubted whether you are on the right path to get to Heaven? Have you ever questioned whether you could become "unsaved" and lose your salvation? This week, we begin a 5-week series from 1 John. "Confident Christians" will show us from God's Word that we don't have to doubt whether we are saved or fear that we could ever lose our eternal security in Christ. Through the Apostle John's letter to believers, we will see what the true marks of a Christian are and how that life is to be lived if we follow Christ. Each of us can then "examine ourselves" (2 Corinthians 13:5) and know for certain that we are safe and secure in our relationship with God (1 John 5:13).

Join us Thursday, 10A-12:30p and meet other Christian seniors for fellowship, fun, food, and a trivia challenge. Most importantly, get your salvation and eternal security questions settled, once and for all, based entirely on God's Word. Hope to see you there!

This past Thursday was another amazing day at our ForEVER READY seniors fellowship! If you're a senior adult (55+) looking for fellowship and engaging with other Christian seniors, come join us!

Thursdays are more informal than Sundays. We have a time to catch up on the week, have a devotional taken directly from the Bible followed by praise/prayer time, and fun. Of course, there are refreshments!

You don't have to belong to or attend our church to come on Thursdays. Just come for the fellowship. Mark your calendar for this (and every) Thursday, 10A-12:30P to be part of our fellowship at Cornerstone Church in Four Corners/Davenport on Rt 27, near 192.

We have been busy this week. Wed we had a group of us go to the Sunshine Foundation in Davenport - met the staff, some families, and spent the morning assembling backpack bags loaded with fun that will go to the kids and families served by the Foundation.

Thursday was our weekly fellowship and last night was our monthly ForEVER READY Nights gathering of fellowship, open time of games, and our ever-competitive Bible Trivia Challenge from the book of Ruth! We had a great time sharing life, sharing the Word, and sharing food in a fun and relaxing environment. Well, relaxing until we got into the competition! But - it was still fun! I tried my "hand" with some blocks and soon had both hands full (see photos)! I don't think that's how a person wins that game.

The news of the week - this was our last week for meeting -in our smaller space. Next week we migrate to our new ForEVER READY space in our newly-expanded building! More space to grow, fellowship, and enjoy elbow room.

We meet weekly on Thursdays, 10A-1P, and every 4th Friday each month, 6:30-8:30P. We are a Christian senior adult ministry, open to any senior (55+) looking to build/strengthen relationships with God and with other seniors in a friendly, informal setting. Come join us!

Today we celebrated our first birthday as a Senior Adults Ministry! Following God's lead to Remember and Celebrate, we remembered and reflected on all God's faithfulness and goodness throughout this past year, thankful and grateful for our new relationships and fellowship with each other. Then - we celebrated...! Food, fun, food, games, food... Enjoy the photos!
