Today is the day of our collection event for the River Bend Food Bank! Monetary donations have the largest impact but any donations are welcome! Specific food items being requested are individual serving sized packages for the Backpack Program (easy mac, Chef Boyardee, soup, fruit cups, cereal, etc.). We will be out there rain or shine at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Pull up to our staging area and stay dry in your vehicle while we collect your donations!

The Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Knights of Columbus Loras Council 532 will be grilling dinner for our John F Kennedy Catholic School families at Unpack Your Backpack on Thursday, August 19 from 5:00-7:30 PM! We will be stationed near the Northwest entrance where students enter the building on school days. The food will be provided free of charge, but donations will be collected and APPRECIATED! Stop by to say hi and pick up dinner from us! All donations collected will benefit the JFK Rock Garden Project for the Blessed Mother Slate Wall entrance area.

Location: JFK Parking Lot
Time: 5:00-7:30 PM
Meal provided would consist of: Hot dogs, chips, bottled water
Cost: FREE!
Monetary Donations: All donations will benefit a student rock garden project for the JFK Blessed Mother slate wall entrance area!

Please pray for our JFK students, their families, and the staff as they face another back to school start with the delta variant factor. Pray for their health, safety, and success with the new school year!

Thank you to everyone who donated to our JFK school supply collection efforts today! 16 cases of bottled water, bags and bags of essential school supplies, and over $500 for the JFK Rock Garden project! For such short notice on our part (sorry!), our parish community really showed up to support our JFK students and staff! God bless you all!

We are so proud to represent and serve on behalf of our parish to help those in need within our community!
