You can know about Jesus, admire Jesus, grow up around Jesus, and still never truly surrender your life to Him.

Faith isn’t inherited. It isn’t simply agreeing with what the crowd says. At some point, every one of us has to answer the question for ourselves: Who is Jesus to me?

Calling Him Lord means more than giving Him a place in our lives. It means giving Him authority over our lives. Our plans. Our choices. Our relationships. Our future. All of it.

Jesus isn’t asking what everyone else thinks. He’s asking you.

Take a moment today and ask yourself: Is Jesus simply part of my life, or is He Lord over my life? Then share this post with someone who needs the reminder.
