The world tells us to hold tighter, work harder, and rely on ourselves. But Jesus teaches a different way. True strength is found in surrendering our plans, our fears, and our need for control so God can do what only He can do.

When we empty ourselves of self-reliance, we make room for kingdom power. The posture of surrender isn't giving up...it's stepping into alignment with God's purpose and authority. As Pastor Nathan reminded us Sunday, "Surrender is not weakness. Surrender is positioning."

Last night, Joy’s Bible study group prayed for something specific. Her mom needed a car. A certain budget. A certain model. Even a certain color.

The Kingdom of God isn’t a future event we’re waiting on. It’s a present reality calling us to live differently right now. Not by the world’s rules, but by His.
