Not everything that sounds biblical is from God. We must know the Word, walk in discernment, and learn to recognize the difference between God’s truth and the enemy’s distortion of it!

Familiarity helps expose what does not belong. The more familiar we become with God’s Word, His character, and His ways, the better equipped we are to recognize what does not sound like Him!

Never let volume determine the source. When Elijah stood on the mountain, he witnessed a mighty wind, an earthquake, and a fire - but the Lord was not in them. Instead, God spoke through a still small voice (1 Kings 19:11–12). The same is true in our lives. Fear may get loud, offense may demand a response, urgency may pressure us, and worry may try to drown out everything else. But just because something is loud doesn’t mean it’s God. Learn to quiet the noise, still your heart, and listen for His voice. The loudest voice in your life isn’t necessarily the one you should follow.

Romans 12:2 reminds us that transformation begins with the renewing of our minds. As we learn to recognize God’s voice in our thoughts, He reshapes the way we think, changes how we see, and transforms who we are.
