📈 Jesus said a tree is known by its fruit, and one of the clearest indicators of spiritual growth is joy. Not temporary happiness that changes with circumstances, but Spirit-produced joy that survives pressure, carries you through difficulty, and overflows from a life connected to Christ.

The joy of the Lord is strength. It steadies your attitude, changes your response to pressure, and becomes visible evidence that the Holy Spirit is producing something deeper in you. God never intended believers to live drained, defeated, and miserable. As we abide in His presence and grow in His grace, His joy begins to overflow through our lives.

• 2 Corinthians 12:9
• Galatians 5:22

• John 15:5, 11; 16:13-15
• Luke 6:43-44

• Philippians 1:25; 4:4
• Psalm 16:11

Joy affects your spiritual endurance. The joy that comes from God gives you strength to keep going, keep believing, and keep growing. You need His joy to radically empower each moment. When joy is present, God is present - working and equipping your steps, words, thoughts, and your actions! Joy makes hard seasons light and momentary.

“For the joy of the Lord is your strength!” — Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT)

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. 🇺🇸
We are grateful for their sacrifice and praying for the families who carry their legacy.
Happy Memorial Day from our church family ❤️

Hello Elation Family! This week we are reading Acts 12-16. The spiritual fruit of JOY flows naturally from the confident and constant revelation of the kindness and favor of God. This revelation comes through the Holy Spirit making the things of God known to you. He makes the “theoretical” applicable.

Are you carnal or spiritual?

The difference between a carnal Christian and a spiritual Christian isn’t perfection — it’s growth.

A carnal believer is led by the flesh, controlled by emotions, feelings, and personal desires.
A spiritual believer is allowing the Holy Spirit to transform their soul — their mind, will, and emotions — to become more like Christ. Spiritual maturity is seen in what flows out of us:love, patience, self-control, humility, forgiveness, and obedience to God.

God didn’t just call us to believe in Him — He called us to be transformed by Him. 📈

Spiritual growth is not measured by how long you’ve been in church or how much Bible knowledge you have. It’s measured by the fruit your life produces. And the first fruit the Holy Spirit develops in us is love.

God didn’t just say He loves you—He genuinely delights in you. His love has been poured into your heart by the Holy Spirit, and the more you draw from His love, the more your life begins to reflect Him. When we stay rooted and grounded in God’s love, His love begins to shape our thoughts, our reactions, our relationships, and the way we treat people.

The world will not know we belong to Jesus because we win arguments, look religious, or appear spiritual. Jesus said they will know we are His disciples by our love.

Walk in love. Put on love. Practice displaying God’s love daily until His love becomes your identity!

3 daily actions to grow in Love:

Imitate God, Who Is Love -

“Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.”
— Ephesians 5:1–2 (NLT)

Walk in Love -

“Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us…”
— Ephesians 5:2 (NLT)

Put On Love -

“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience… Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.”
— Colossians 3:12, 14 (NLT)

The most important piece of clothing you must wear is love. Love is what binds us all together in perfect harmony!

📈Spiritual growth is not measured by how much we know, how long we’ve been in church, or how spiritual we appear. True spiritual growth is revealed by the fruit in our lives—especially love. As we grow closer to God, love should become more evident in the way we speak, serve, forgive, and treat others. A spiritually mature person consistently reflects the character of Christ through patience, kindness, humility, and compassion. The evidence of real growth is not perfection, but a constant increase of God’s love being displayed in everyday life.
