Part 2 - Glorious Church - Pr Pam Tapias
Pastor Pam continues a series on Isaiah 62, focusing on the church being a “crown of splendor” in God’s hand. This signifies the church as a symbol of God’s glory, adorned and ready for His coming, like the wise virgins with lamps full of oil. The church is called to be a royal diadem, representing God’s kingdom and moving under His direction and rule.

Part 2 - Detox 101- Pr Saul Tapias
Pastor Saul describes the importance of detoxing from false teachings and human interpretations about the Bible. He argues that the main battle is not first against the devil, but against the passions of the flesh that wage war against the soul. He encourages believers to apply the cross and live by faith in Christ’s finished work.

The inner war within believers, as described in Romans 7:23, is the main battleground, not external forces like the devil. While the devil can tempt and bring problems, victory in this inner struggle closes the door to his influence. The example of the devil being bound for 1000 years during Christ’s reign demonstrates that human fleshly nature, not the devil, is the root cause of sin and rebellion.

False teachings, often a mix of truth and deception, can lead believers astray, especially when they cater to fleshly desires and avoid the will of God. True wisdom, pure and peace-loving, comes from God and requires a willingness to crucify the flesh and submit to His will.

Living in the Light of Eternity
Pastor Pam shared this message about walking in the light of eternity, emphasizing the temporary nature of the earth and the importance of living with an eternal perspective. She highlighted the example of Jesus, who lived in the light of eternity and made an eternal impact.
The word of God is eternal and will never pass away, unlike the temporary world and its desires. To discern God’s will, one must present their body as a living sacrifice and renew their mind.
Pastor Pam emphasizes the importance of not falling in love with the present world and its system, as it is passing away. She stress the need to crucify the flesh and follow Christ, as the world is dead to believers and they are citizens of heaven.

Part 3 - You Anoint My Head - Pr Saul Tapias

To transform our lives, we must renew our minds to align with the thoughts of God. God’s thoughts are higher than ours, and He reveals them through His word, which we must read and meditate on. The Holy Spirit then reveals the meaning of the word to us, allowing us to align our thoughts and ways with God’s.

The Bible emphasizes the importance of understanding God’s word, which requires the Holy Spirit’s revelation. The disciples, despite claiming to understand Jesus’ teachings, only fully comprehended them after the resurrection when the Lord opened of their minds . This understanding is a process, as seen in the book of Acts chapter 10, where Peter receives a vision that challenges his beliefs.

The vision of “don’t call unclean what I have called clean” was given to Peter to help him understand that the sacrifice of Christ was available to all nations, not just the Jewish people. This vision led to Peter’s acceptance of Gentiles into the church, a significant shift in the early Christian community. The Holy Spirit played a crucial role in guiding Peter and changing his perspective on the inclusion of Gentiles.

Part 2 - You Anoint My Head - Pr Saul E Tapias

Pastor Saul centers on the need for believers to have their minds and souls "anointed" — meaning transformed and governed by the Holy Spirit — not just their spirits (which are already reborn at salvation).
Bottom Line: You can be saved and even Spirit-filled, yet still think and act like the old self if your soul is not being renewed. The solution is letting the Word of Christ dwell richly in you — through meditation, teaching, praying in the Spirit, and pursuing understanding — so that your thoughts become anointed thoughts.

Draw Closer - Pr Pam Tapias
The word of God is essential for spiritual growth, and believers can experience intimacy with God through prayer and studying the scriptures. God desires a close relationship with His people and has provided ways to communicate with Him, including praying in the spirit. By seeking God and drawing near to Him, believers can experience a deeper level of intimacy and revelation.

Under the new covenant, believers have direct access to God’s presence through Jesus Christ, our high priest.
