The River of Fire was flowing in the Davenport nursing home today! 5 people received the Lord and 2 were filled with the Spirit! And
as one lady prayed in tongues begin to move her paralyzed toes! The other lady was able to have more movement in her leg! The love of God flowed and touched so many hearts! There were
many divine appointments! We want to thank everyone that came out to evangelize! To God be the glory for everything He said and did today. And for everything He will continue to do in that nursing home.

Part 4 - Glorious Church - Pr Pam Tapias

The central theme of the messages is the importance of drawing near to God through obedience to His word. To do this, we must remove obstacles like unforgiveness and actively seek a deeper relationship with Him, not just in public worship but also in private devotion. By obeying God’s word, we experience freedom and growth, becoming more like Christ.

Believers are called to grow in their faith by adding virtues like goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, and love. This growth, enabled by the Holy Spirit and God’s word, helps believers overcome sin and live a victorious life. While everyone is called, only those who actively pursue their calling and election, through effort and preparation, will receive a rich welcome into God’s eternal kingdom.

Part 5 - Detox 101 -Pr Saul E Tapias

The foundation of the new covenant, as laid down by Paul and other New Testament writers, is crucial for building a strong and healthy church. Neglecting this foundation, even with seemingly good intentions, can lead to spiritual death and a lack of vitality within the church. The book of Revelation, particularly chapters 2 and 3, serves as a warning to churches, urging them to be watchful, strengthen what remains, and hold fast to the foundational teachings they received.

Apostolic work does not necessarily equate to being an apostle, one person can do apostolic work without being an apostle. Pastor Saul emphasizes that spiritual gifts and calls to ministry are bestowed by God, not by human intervention. He also highlights the importance of recognizing and setting apart individuals with a divine call, while cautioning against pride and self-promotion in ministry.

Pastor Saul discusses the distinction between being called and being set apart for a specific ministry, using Paul and Barnabas as examples. It emphasizes that apostles are called and sent by the Holy Spirit to establish new churches and spread the gospel, rather than governing existing churches. The primary function of an apostle is to preach and teach the word, with the demonstration of power following the word.

Part 3 - Detoxl 01 - Pr Saul Tapias

The sermon then tackles the popular teaching of "spiritual warfare" - the practice of loudly
confronting demonic spirits in the air, going to "high places," binding the devil, or engaging in
extended "warring prayer." The speaker argues that this approach is not supported by Scripture or by
the example of Jesus, Paul, or the disciples. In fact, he points out that Christians singing about going
up to fight the devil in high places are unknowingly reinforcing a false picture — one where the devil
has a higher position than believers — when the Bible clearly teaches that believers are seated with
Christ above all powers and principalities.
Using Ephesians 6, the speaker examines the armor of God and argues that its purpose is not
offensive warfare in the air, but defensive — to help believers stand firm against the devil's schemes.
He identifies the devil's primary scheme, drawn from Ephesians 4:14, as the spreading of distorted or
extreme teaching that infiltrates the body of Christ. Each piece of the armor, he explains, is
essentially a manifestation of the word of God, designed to protect the believer's mind and flesh fron

Part 2 - Detox 101- Pr Saul Tapias
Pastor Saul describes the importance of detoxing from false teachings and human interpretations about the Bible. He argues that the main battle is not first against the devil, but against the passions of the flesh that wage war against the soul. He encourages believers to apply the cross and live by faith in Christ’s finished work.

The inner war within believers, as described in Romans 7:23, is the main battleground, not external forces like the devil. While the devil can tempt and bring problems, victory in this inner struggle closes the door to his influence. The example of the devil being bound for 1000 years during Christ’s reign demonstrates that human fleshly nature, not the devil, is the root cause of sin and rebellion.

False teachings, often a mix of truth and deception, can lead believers astray, especially when they cater to fleshly desires and avoid the will of God. True wisdom, pure and peace-loving, comes from God and requires a willingness to crucify the flesh and submit to His will.

Living in the Light of Eternity
Pastor Pam shared this message about walking in the light of eternity, emphasizing the temporary nature of the earth and the importance of living with an eternal perspective. She highlighted the example of Jesus, who lived in the light of eternity and made an eternal impact.
The word of God is eternal and will never pass away, unlike the temporary world and its desires. To discern God’s will, one must present their body as a living sacrifice and renew their mind.
Pastor Pam emphasizes the importance of not falling in love with the present world and its system, as it is passing away. She stress the need to crucify the flesh and follow Christ, as the world is dead to believers and they are citizens of heaven.

Part 3 - You Anoint My Head - Pr Saul Tapias

To transform our lives, we must renew our minds to align with the thoughts of God. God’s thoughts are higher than ours, and He reveals them through His word, which we must read and meditate on. The Holy Spirit then reveals the meaning of the word to us, allowing us to align our thoughts and ways with God’s.

The Bible emphasizes the importance of understanding God’s word, which requires the Holy Spirit’s revelation. The disciples, despite claiming to understand Jesus’ teachings, only fully comprehended them after the resurrection when the Lord opened of their minds . This understanding is a process, as seen in the book of Acts chapter 10, where Peter receives a vision that challenges his beliefs.

The vision of “don’t call unclean what I have called clean” was given to Peter to help him understand that the sacrifice of Christ was available to all nations, not just the Jewish people. This vision led to Peter’s acceptance of Gentiles into the church, a significant shift in the early Christian community. The Holy Spirit played a crucial role in guiding Peter and changing his perspective on the inclusion of Gentiles.
