Tonight’s the night! 🎉

If you’ve been looking for a sign to get out of the house, laugh a little, and maybe get a little competitive over a board game…………this is it.

Business Women of Faith is gathering for a Fundraiser Game Night at Argrow’s Cafe and it’s going to be one of those nights where you walk in not knowing many people and leave feeling like you just found your table.

There will be games, snacks, and great conversation.

Also, fair warning, some of us take game night very seriously. So come prepared.

It’s for a good cause, it’s for community, and it’s going to be a really good time.

6–9pm
Argrow’s House Café

Bring a friend, or come solo and we’ll make sure you don’t stay that way long.

Let’s raise some funds and have some fun doing it.

The Quad Cities Business Women of Faith are hosting a vendor fair on the night of Nov. 4 that will feature a wonderful guest speaker and author who is an expert on confident living.

Thanks to the generosity of Thrivent Action Team we were able to put together “Birthday in a box” kits this morning that included cake mix and frosting, plates, napkins, streamers, candles and other items for a birthday party.

Thanks to Toni Sheehan we were even able to include handmade cards. Everything was packaged in a disposable 9X13 cake pan and wrapped up with instructions. We donated them to the YWCA Quad Cities Empowerment Center.

Everyone deserves to celebrate their birthday!

3 Simple Tips for Eating Healthy This Weekend! 🍎

Weekends don’t have to derail your health goals! How many times have you had that one indulgent meal, then said screw it and kept eating like crap all weekend....

Here are my top 3 tips to stay on track while still enjoying yourself:

#1 Plan Ahead: Prep healthy snacks and meals before the weekend hits, so you’re ready when hunger strikes.

#2 Balance Treats: It’s okay to indulge, but balance it out by filling half your plate with veggies and lean protein.

#3 Drink Water: Sometimes hunger is just thirst in disguise. Keep a water bottle handy and sip throughout the day!
