A year ago, we experienced the closing of our beloved church in the State of Connecticut, a place where we worshipped, grew in faith, and walked together as a spiritual family. While the doors of the building may have closed, we believe with confidence that the work of God has not ended. His plans are never confined to walls, and His Spirit is never limited by circumstances.
The closure marked not an end, but a transition—a shift into a new season. God is doing a new thing. Through the scattering of His people, fresh ministries have been birthed, deeper connections have formed, and new opportunities to serve and witness have emerged. Some have been called to plant, others to support, and many to shine His light in new places and ways.
Though we may no longer gather as we once did, the legacy of love, worship, and service lives on in each of us. We celebrate what was and we look forward with faith—trusting that He who began a good work is still at work, writing new chapters in each of our lives for His glory.
Let us continue to walk by faith, listen for His voice, and remain open to the new things He is doing among us. The church may have closed, but the mission of God lives on—strong, active, and full of promise.
