Today we celebrated our friend Hayden and his last name change with a remembrance of Baptism!

Psalm 149v3: Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.

This weekend so many of our kids used their God-given talents and danced their praises.

We are so proud of you all for getting up on stage and dancing your best! They may go to different studios but they are all ONE Church Family!

Our Families had a fun night at our second gathering this program year! Tonight was S’more time for Fellowship! It was so fun to see our kids playing singing and having fun together!

Sunday is our annual Neighborhood Picnic! There will be one service that day at 10am, and the picnic will follow. Meat, baked beans, and drinks will be provided; please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

One of our 6th graders Natalynn donated 12 inches of her beautiful hair to Wigs for Kids! This is her 4th time donating! If that isn’t an amazing act of and I don’t know what is! Way to be selfless and help others Natalynn! We are proud of you and love the new hairdo!

We finished out our Compassion Camp with doing a service project for our own members! Then we went and had our backpacks blessed!

We had such an amazing time tonight at Silver Bell Hollow Farm! We saw a pop up play Robin Hood from The Spotlight Theatre, had snacks, met some new alpaca friends and had some much needed family fellowship! We can’t wait until the next time!

Just a reminder that there is NO Compassion Camp tomorrow 8/7. Instead we will be meeting at 12:00 in the Fireplace room to have pizza and meet a CE candidate! See you tomorrow and come hungry!!

Today we talked about Compassion for Ourselves. We talked about how we need to take care of our needs to make sure we are our best selves. We also talked about how God helps provide for us as well. Then we checked out our amazing tie-dye feom last week and received our blessing. Another week of fun at Compassion Camp!
