This is what home can be. šŸ¤

A place to worship.
A place to pray.
A place to remember Jesus.
A place to know others—and be known.

TODAY, we’re gathering around the table for Communion, stepping into the final week of our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting, and discovering why Finding HOME Matters More Than Sharing SPACE.

Because church was never meant to be a room full of people who happen to be in the same place.

God is building a family.
A people who worship together, pray together, grow together—and walk through life together.

There’s room for you in it.

Come expectant. Come as you are.

Tomorrow, we’re gathering around the table for Communion, continuing into the final week of our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting, and opening God’s Word together as we discover why Finding HOME Matters More Than Sharing SPACE.

Come expectant. Come as you are. Come ready to worship Jesus together.

There’s a difference between sharing space and sharing life. šŸ¤

Church was never meant to be a room full of people who happen to be in the same place. God is building something deeper—a family where we know one another, pray for one another, carry one another and grow together in Jesus.

This Sunday, we’re continuing our series with Finding HOME Matters More Than Sharing SPACE—and we’ll gather around the table for Communion as we remember the One who made this family possible.

We’re also entering the final week of our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting. What a beautiful season it has been of seeking God together—and we believe He still has more for us.

You weren’t made just to attend.
You were made to belong.
There’s a place for you here.

WHEN EVERYTHING SHAKES, GOD DOESN’T.
Life can change quickly.
Plans shift. Circumstances surprise us. What felt certain yesterday can suddenly feel uncertain today.
But David gives us something stronger to stand on:
ā€œMy God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.ā€ — Psalm 18:2
Notice how personal those words are.
My rock.
My refuge.
My shield.
My salvation.
My stronghold.
David wasn’t describing a distant God. He was describing the God he had learned to trust in the middle of real battles.
And He is still that God today.
When you don't know what happens next, He is your Rock.
When you feel exposed, He is your Refuge.
When the battle feels bigger than you, He is your Stronghold.
You don't have to build your life on circumstances that keep changing.
Build your life on the God who never does. šŸ¤

Good food. A lot of laughs. A little cupcake chaos. šŸ˜‚ And the kind of community that reminds us life really is better together.
Our Young Adults are building something special—a place for college students and young adults to connect, build friendships, grow in faith, and simply do life together.
And we’re doing it again.
NEXT NIGHT • SEPTEMBER 6
College • Career • Community
If you’re looking for your people, maybe this is your invitation.
Come hang out. Bring a friend. Pull up a chair.
There’s room for you.

HELP IS HERE. šŸ¤

Today is a special Sunday in the life of our church—and we’d love for you to be part of it.

We’re gathering to worship, continuing our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting, and discovering what it means to live every day with the presence, power, and help of the Holy Spirit.

And as a new school year gets underway, we’ll pray over and commission our students, educators, and parents—believing that wherever God sends us, He goes with us.

You don’t have to do life alone.

Help is here. God is with us. And His Spirit is at work.

Help is here. šŸ™Œ

Whatever this week has held, you don’t have to carry it into the next one alone.

God is present. His Spirit is at work. And there is something powerful about gathering together, lifting our eyes, and remembering where our help comes from.

Tomorrow, we’re continuing our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting and leaning into what it means to live with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Come expectant. Come ready. Come as you are.

You don’t have to do life alone. šŸ¤

God never designed us to carry everything by ourselves. He gives us His presence—and He gives us people. People who pray. People who encourage. People who show up. People who remind us that help is here.

This Sunday, as we continue our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting, we’re leaning into what it means to share life with God and with one another.

Whatever this week has looked like for you, there’s a place for you here.

Life at DIBC šŸ¤

Church is so much more than a service we attend.

It’s people knowing people.
It’s generations growing together.
It’s conversations, laughter, encouragement and little moments that remind us—we were never meant to do life alone.

We love Sundays. We love worshipping together. We love opening God’s Word together. But we also love everything that happens in between—the relationships being built, the friendships growing, and a church family simply sharing life together.

Because sometimes the moments that seem small are the ones God uses to build something lasting.

This is church. This is family. This is life together.

And we’re grateful for every bit of it. šŸ’™

Some things change. God’s goodness doesn’t.
Circumstances change. Plans change. People change. Some days unfold exactly as we hoped, and others take turns we never saw coming.
But underneath everything that changes, there is something wonderfully steady:
ā€œFor the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever.ā€ — Psalm 100:5 NLT
God isn’t good only when life feels good. His goodness is part of who He is.
And His love isn’t fragile. It doesn’t disappear when we struggle, weaken when we fail, or run out when life gets complicated. His love endures forever.
That means today we can live from a place of confidence—not because we know everything that’s coming, but because we know the One who is with us.
So whatever today holds, remember what remains true:
God is good.
God loves you.
God is faithful.
And none of that is changing.
When everything around us feels uncertain, we can build our lives on the unchanging goodness of God.
