Vote YES for a Safe Massachusetts
In 2024 Massachusetts passed "An Act Modernizing Fi****ms Laws" (formerly H.4885).

The bill slows the proliferation of "ghost guns," updates the definition of assault-style weapons, and enhances public safety. This law can serve as a model for the rest of our nation on how to create a safe environment that serves people over the gun lobby without infringing on the rights of law-abiding gun owners who know common sense gun safety laws are necessary.
Gun rights groups have filed a petition to repeal this lifesaving law entirely.

Prompt: an experience of the beyond. Is there a beyond? That has been a question for much of my life and has often left me with the idea that I had to figure it out whatever it was or I must do something myself or it would not get done. I think that I have inched away from that idea of self-sufficiency to a more hospitable and tender place and it has often resulted in some joy. This trust in a supportive and caring beyond has led to a subtle, but often radically different way of seeing the world-of noticing things I had not noticed before, good things, soul restoring things, such as the sun on the snow, the thoughtfulness of someone in the meeting, a loving gesture. Sometimes it is an inspirational thought or happy or at least satisfactory resolution to something I have been wrestling with.

Puzzles Attack: 20 Years Later Remote Candlelight Vigil Today at 4:00

Hello friends,

Today at 4:00 PM, the South Coast LGBTQ+ Network will gather for a remote candlelight vigil marking the 20th anniversary of the attack at Puzzles Lounge.

This is a moment of remembrance, reflection, and solidarity as we honor the lives affected and reaffirm our community’s strength and resilience.

We invite you to join us from home by lighting a candle and standing together in support.

Join us as we welcome a shared exploration of the intersection of art, spirit, and care of the Earth at 739 Horseneck Rd, Dartmouth on Sunday, Sept 21, 2 - 3:30 pm . Land, Water, and Spirit presents readings from the newly-released Waterscapes: a SouthCoast Anthology, with its insightful narratives and striking images from thirty area authors and photographers, alongside spoken contributions from various local environmental stewards. Readers will be sharing personal stories of their connections to the land; environmental stewards who work in the fields of agriculture and garden design will speak to the artistry of their work and the links between Earth Care and Art.
