Many of my friends and family members are 'trying to make the best of' this holiday season without their loved ones.
Some of my friends have lost a parent(s) or a child, or a spouse, a grandparent(s), for some it may be the loss of a family pet.
The emptiness that fills ones heart can become overwhelming and down right depressing. My heart is heavy for so many who in a world where people think one should just " go on " simply can't.
Little things such as seeing another families photos, decorating a Christmas tree, making cookies, wrapping/ exchanging gifts all can become tasks that simply break the heart a little more each day.
I know I am many many miles away from some of you but please know that I am praying for you extra hard this Christmas season.
I may not be able to reach out and hug you however I am praying that God will fill your hearts with a peace that passes all understanding, fill your home with love, and may your thoughts be filled with great memories. May your hearts turn toward Jesus this season and may someone near you be HIS hands and feet and help comfort you.
People say time does heal, but my experience is there is no limit on time.
Maybe you are the one who knows someone who is grieving this season, please take the time to listen to them, encourage them to share stories of their loved one with you.
Allow God to use you to minister to them .
I don't wanna miss anyone so I am not going to tag you but please know that I love you and I am praying for you. ❤️
