Seven Last Words of Jesus

The seven last words (or sayings) of Jesus are the final phrases spoken on the cross, gathered from all four Gospels. They highlight forgiveness, relationship, distress, and surrender, providing a profound summary of his ministry and sacrifice.

"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34) - FORGIVENESS

"Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43) - SALVATION

"Woman, behold your son... Behold your mother." (John 19:26–27) - RELATIONSHIP

"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46, Mark 15:34) - A cry of deep distress and abandonment.

"I thirst." (John 19:28) - Expressing physical suffering and fulfilling Scripture.

"It is finished." (John 19:30) - Declaring his mission accomplished (Tetelestai).

"Father, into your hands I commend my spirit." (Luke 23:46) - Final act of surrender and trust.

The MMBC Young Adult Choir is looking for young people between the ages of 13-40 who have a heart to serve God through music and worship. If you have a desire to use your voice to glorify God and help lead others into His presence, we invite you to be a part of this ministry.

Singing in the choir is more than music—it is a form of ministry and service to the Lord. Through song, we encourage the church, uplift hearts, and give praise to God for all that He has done.

If you are a young adult who feels called to serve and would like to use your gift for God’s glory, we welcome you to join us for rehearsal Saturday, March 21 at 1pm! Don't worry if you can't make it. Just contact us!
