☕️Gather & Connect🍪

Today was our very first "Gather & Connect" fellowship time, and what a wonderful beginning it was! Even though it was Labor Day weekend and our first time trying this, we were blessed with a great time of fellowship and connection.

A special thank you to Todd and Cheryl for preparing the coffee and treats and for hosting this time together. And thank you to everyone who came, shared conversation, and shared a little bit of life with one another.

We hope this is just the beginning of many more opportunities to gather, connect, and grow together as a church family. ❤️

September Manor Worship

On the first day of September, we gathered for worship and began a new month together.

Today’s message, “God Carries Us,” was based on Isaiah 46:3–4, reminding us that God has carried us from the very beginning and will continue to carry us through every season of life.

“Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob, all the remnant of the people of Israel, you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”

One of the hymns we sang together was “God Will Take Care of You.” As I sang, the words brought me comfort and a deep sense of peace. I hope those who gathered for worship experienced that same comfort and reassurance.

As we begin a new month and a new season, may each person experience God’s love, grace, and presence in a new and meaningful way. May we remember that wherever we go and whatever we face, God carries us and cares for us. 🙏

Blessing of the Backpacks & Teachers!

School is starting, and we want to begin this new journey with God’s blessing! 🙏

Join us tomorrow at 10:00 AM at Darlington UMC for a special blessing for students, teachers, school staff, parents, and all who are beginning something new this fall.

- Bring your backpack!
- Come receive a blessing!
- Come ready to be a blessing to others!

We are asking all households for donations; either 2 - 9” pies OR $20.00 cash to help defray costs. All Other Household Members Not Bringing Pies are asked to donate $20.00
Cash donations or checks made payable to “United Methodist Women” can be placed in the offering plate , paid that night or mailed to the church office at 550 Main St, Darlington, WI 53530
It would be great if you could have your Pies to the church by Noon on Wednesday, the 23th. (Tuesday evening works too!)
As always, we need to work together to make this event run smoothly.
