Talmadge Hill Community Church

Talmadge Hill Community Church We are a nondenominational church with a progressive theology. All are welcome. Worship every Sunday at 10am.

We are an independent Christian church of neighbors near and far, whose mission is "to know the love of God and share it". First gathered in 1870, we look forward to celebrating 150 years in 2020. Our community of faith is grounded in Christian tradition that is warm, welcoming and accepting of all persons in search of a deeper spiritual life.

Music is an important and joyful part of worship at Talmadge Hill Community Church. Each Sunday our music program, led by Rob Silvan, helps bring our worship to life and gives us another way to connect, reflect, and celebrate together.

From familiar hymns, seasonal concerts, jazz trios, classical arrangements, and other beautiful musical offering. We’re grateful for the gifts and heart that go into making music a meaningful part of our Sunday mornings.

Music matters!! We’re thankful to share it together.

We were so grateful to gather together in worship, fellowship, and community. Especially excited to welcome back our Bridge Pastor, Rev. Mark Montgomery!

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Backpack Drive at Talmadge Hill! Your generosity will support children and families served by the Department of Children and Families in Bridgeport.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share God’s love in a tangible way and help local children start the school year with the supplies they need.
