Rite of Reconciliation
Saturdays: 3:15 pm to 4:00 pm or call the rectory to make an appointment

Communion Calls
Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers and the priests bring Holy Communion to any parishioner who cannot attend mass because of age, sickness or disability. Please contact the rectory. Baptisms
Parents must register to attend a Baptismal Preparation Class at the Rectory by calling 610-583-2128 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 am and 4:30 pm. You will receive baptismal information at this time. Baptisms are celebrated on the fourth Sunday of the month at 12 noon. Matrimony
Arrangements should be initiated at least six months in advance. Please call the rectory. Weddings are celebrate on Saturdays at 1:30 pm. Anointing of the Sick
Please make arrangements to be anointed at the church after mass or contact the chaplain who serves the hospital you will be staying at. DEVOTIONS

Holy Rosary: 7:40 am (before the 8:15 daily mass)
Miraculous Medal Novena: Saturdays after the 8:15 am mass
Adoration: 3:15 to 4 pm every Saturday

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

School - PreK through 8th grade
CCD - Sunday School 1-8th grade

RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults for non-Catholic adults who are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith and for those who wish to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist and/or Confirmation. Meetings are held twice a month on Tuesday nights (October through Easter).

Sister Rosemarie Hagan, IHM, A longtime former 2nd grade teacher at our Blessed Virgin Mary School, passed into eternal life with Christ early yesterday morning. She was currently stationed at St. Laurence in Upper Darby.
Sister Rosie dedicated many of her 60 years of ministry to our students and parish. We pray for the repose of her soul and for the comfort of her family and all those who knew her.

A letter from our Amazing Principal!

Dear Graduates of Blessed Virgin Mary School,
​For some of you, graduation from BVM School was many years ago and others not so long ago! It has been eight years since we celebrated our 100th Anniversary. Your school has kept its doors open for 108 years… we have made improvements with the help of grants to enhance our programs and maintain /increase our students, as well as inside and outside safety equipment.
​We are now working to build up our Robotics Program for our students and the Robotics Club which will be competing in the Archdiocesan competition at Cardinal O’Hara in the spring.
​BVM School received another Archdiocesan Distinguished Academic Achievement Award 2025 for growth in our Standardized tests in a year.
​Wednesday, October 29th pending weather will be our annual Walk-a-thon. We are about $5,500 from reaching our goal. Our flyer was posted on this page. WE NEED YOUR HELP! You can send a check to school or click on flyer link. Let’s keep BVM advancing!
​It would be great to get everyone together for brunch! If you think it is a great idea and would like to help…just get it out there and maybe we can make it happen in the Spring of 2026. I am starting my 25th year as Principal and believe me it is a great place to be!!
