WE'RE BACK FROM WILDERNESS CAMP! We had a wonderful group and they were so excited to get closer to God and stay PLUGGED IN to the Word of God. These kids are some worshippers! Great lessons learned and unforgettable bonds. We're so happy to be able to do this for our younger generation. Creating that foundation is super important. Songs were sung to the Lord with praise all the days and we get to see them grow into being more like Jesus in their daily walk and they correct each other with love to be good and not let the devil steal their joy. We're so proud of them! God is so good.

Here we come campers! Today our evangelist and his team are going to Hanging Rock tonight to do our yearly Wilderness Camp. We have 21 kids this year! Pray for all of us, we will be roughing it out in nature for 3 days. We love doing this and seeing the kids be transformed in Christ. Beautiful moments!

We are excited to see you all again at today's service! Early birds we encourage you to join our 9:30am morning class studying the book of Leviticus or ladies class studying the book of Proverbs. We also have morning class for the kids!

Join us this Sunday to be spirit fed by the Word of God and fellowship with fellow believers. Being around other believers helps us stay encouraged and focused on Christ, especially during difficult seasons! Here are some reasons why it's valuable to attend a (sound doctrine) church.. โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together... but exhorting one another." (Hebrews 10:24-25)

โœจ Every believer has a role in God's family. We need one another's gifts, wisdom, and support. Just as a body cannot function properly when parts are separated, Christians grow best when connected to other believers.
"Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually." (1 Corinthians 12:27)

โœจ Church provides opportunities to hear God's Word taught, gain understanding of Scripture, and be equipped for living for Jesus.
"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17)

โœจ Other mature believers can help us recognize areas where we need growth and encourage us toward holiness.
"As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." (Proverbs 27:17)

โœจ Corporate worship glorifies God and reminds us that we are part of a larger family of believers.
"Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker." (Psalm 95:6)

โœจ Jesus established His church as a community.
"I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18)

Forgive whatever your previous church did to hurt you, we want to encourage you to try again and continue to seek Jesus Christ. Nobody is perfect but He is. People will hurt you, but He won't. Pray about it, ask for discernment when searching for a good church that speaks truth - ask to be led to a church that's right for you in all aspects. Have faith and let's win the good fight til the end. Let's trust and obey. May the good Lord be with you always. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

In a world full of distractions, worries, temptations, and endless noise, God calls us to lift our minds higher.

"Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth." โ€” Colossians 3:2 ๐Ÿ“–

When our focus is fixed on earthly things, we become consumed by temporary problems, temporary pleasures, temporary fears, and temporary emotions. But when our minds are fixed on Christ, we find peace in the middle of storms, hope in the middle of trials, and strength in the middle of weakness.

The things of this world are passing away, but the Kingdom of God is eternal. Don't let your heart be weighed down by what is temporary. Instead, seek the things that honor God - His presence, His Word, His righteousness, and His will for your life.

Setting your mind on things above is not ignoring responsibilities on earth. It is approaching every part of life.. work, relationships, trials, blessings - from a heavenly perspective, asking yourself "How can I honor Christ in this?"

โ€œFor to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.โ€ โ€” Romans 8:6

As you ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ธ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜, your thoughts gradually become more aligned with His, and the things of God begin to matter more than the things of the world.

Today, choose to focus on what is ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น rather than what is fading. Keep your mind & eyes on Jesus. The world changes, circumstances change, and people change - but ๐˜Š๐˜ฉ๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ต ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ด ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ด๐˜ข๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ forever.

Lift your priorities higher. Lift your heart higher. Lift your eyes to the One seated on the throne.

Adonai, help us to set our minds on things above and not be consumed by the things of this world. Teach us to seek Your Kingdom first and to live for what will last forever. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’œ
