Childrenās Ministry ( like raising children) is a long game, not a short one. The seeds may not always be immediately ready to reap.
The first picture has two of our teens who used to be in Kids Class with me. When they transitioned to youth group, they began to serve alongside adults in the preschool area where some students that age may start serving. Tonight they helped Ms Pam in Toddlers in a pinch. They, like my other teen helpers, have grown up knowing what it means to help where you are called but sometimes just where you are needed. We have teens every week serving in kids, media, music, cameras, etc and Iām so proud of them.
But it started just like the picture on the right. Little hearts learning about God, learning how to seek him, and learning who he is. One minute may be super silly and the next minute you notice a little growth in someone in some area. What a privilege to witness it all.
