Hey everyone!! Get to church tomorrow at 10:30!!
Just a reminder, that it is 5th Sunday, so there will be Nursery, Toddlers, and Riverbanks class but ROC Elementary Class will worship in the sanctuary!

If your child did not pick one up, this is the summer memory verse list!
For 5 and under there are words in bold to shorten the verse, but let them try, they will surprise you!
There is a check list for initials for teachers in Riverbanks and ROC Kids. Kids who complete all this summer will be recognized on Promotion Sunday and receive a prize!!😎😎

Children’s Ministry ( like raising children) is a long game, not a short one. The seeds may not always be immediately ready to reap.

The first picture has two of our teens who used to be in Kids Class with me. When they transitioned to youth group, they began to serve alongside adults in the preschool area where some students that age may start serving. Tonight they helped Ms Pam in Toddlers in a pinch. They, like my other teen helpers, have grown up knowing what it means to help where you are called but sometimes just where you are needed. We have teens every week serving in kids, media, music, cameras, etc and I’m so proud of them.

But it started just like the picture on the right. Little hearts learning about God, learning how to seek him, and learning who he is. One minute may be super silly and the next minute you notice a little growth in someone in some area. What a privilege to witness it all.

It reminds me of a song

Today we have a few ROC Kids Spotlights! When a child spins the wheel and wins the spotlight, we like to brag on them!
Emmalynn has grown so much in her time in ROC kids! She is answering more, helping others, and full of joy!
Matthew has also grown tremendously! Just last night I could notice his knowledge and improvement in finding our scripture reference in Acts! He is always smiling!
Kimber is growing too! She has always loved to sing and shines bright with this gift! She also shared that one day she wants to go on a mission trip too!
