Today 20 years ago I started at the state prison. Today would have been my retirement day!!! But after 10.5 years the Lord led me to leave, step out in faith and work for him.
We packed up and moved and with in 2-3 weeks I was pastoring a church that I was not expecting to when we moved.
That was the start of a long journey that led to Pastoring, street ministry, prison ministry, and working with the homeless, and starting a Christian bakery where we seen God move on people at the cash register.
This journey took us from Kentucky., to outside of Chicago, and then towards the coast of North Carolina.

So yes today I could been planning my Retirement but looking back I wouldn’t trade what I have experienced in God over these last 9.5 years.
Our retirement plans are not always God’s Retirement plans.

Matthew 6:19-21 KJVS
[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: [20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: [21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

I have a pastor friend in India which I have known for years. He is behind on his church rent and needs 500.00 to keep his doors open.
Christians are at the bottom of the caste system over there. It’s hard to get somebody to rent you a building for a church.
Do I have anybody that would like to help me donate to him to keep his church going. If so you can message me for details.

Interesting fact!
For first thousand years after Jesus died.
People did not sit when they gathered for church services.
They stood the whole time!!!
And when the first group would meet whether outside or in a house. They sang, prayed, asked questions while somebody else shared something the Lord wanted them to say. It was a time when everybody took part not just 1-3 people dominating the service from start to end.
It was truly coming together and having fellowship. Not like the church service of today has become in a majority of the services.

I have traveled north to south, state to state doing ministry. But my greatest achievement I believe will be that all 7 and future 8 people in my household know the Lord Jesus as their savior and are living in a way ready to go when he comes back.
My greatest failure will be if one of them doesn’t make it. That somewhere along the way they lost their Love for him!! Stop trusting him as the ONLY choice and answer!!
Evangelism starts at home and ends at home!

1 Timothy 4:12 KJVS

Thayer's Definition
1. the mark of a stroke or blow, print
2. a figure formed by a blow or impression

You see here that whoever or whatever made the biggest impression or what was the biggest blow to your life will most likely be the example you live everyday for all to see.

If you do live daily as an example of Godly living then Jesus has not made that big of an IMPRESSION ON YOU!!

Do you ask Jesus for help expecting him to do it because he Loves Us? Or ask hoping it might be something he will do for us? It makes a difference!!

John 20:15-16 KJVS
[15] Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. [16] Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

She couldn’t see Jesus in the Gardner but she sure heard his voice!!!!

In life you may not always see Jesus in things but that’s when you just listen for His voice!!!
