Mr. Russell shared the ministry of the Moffett vegetable garden and how it helps it's surrounding neighbors. He helped the children identify many rows of young, tender plants; the children were even allowed to plant a row of green beans! Now, the challenge is to to keep check on the garden's progress through this summer.

So many activities last night: singing with the electric keyboard and Mr. Dale's fancy speaker system, reviewing the Lord's Prayer, identifying which commandments are about loving God and wbich are about loving others, and, finally, placing our commandments on the cross! So thankful Miss Anne was willing to help us!

Only 4 more Wonderful Wednesdays of M&M Club! Exciting activities and special songs have been planned, including an end-of-year celebration on May 16th! The children will share their songs, including one with the Adult Choir, during worship on Mother's Day. It's NEVER too late to join the M&M Club (K-6th)! The Lord blessed us with 13 children last night! Through objects we understand (loaf of bread, crown, no trespassing sign, pile of money, etc), we learned the meaning of The Lord's Prayer, section by small section. Then we sang some songs we will be sharing with the congregation on Mother's Day.

We had a wonderful time last night celebrating Easter with fun Easter activities and an Easter egg hunt! A special thanks to the Rutledge family for providing cookies for the children to decorate! We also want to thank all of our volunteers and to all who donated Easter eggs and candy! WOW, GOD!!
