WinterJam 2026 ☑️
10,000 voices, and our ROOTS students were right in the middle of it, hands up and singing like they meant it.

Moments like this remind me their faith isn’t just something they’re learning. It’s something they’re living.

Also, I’m pretty sure Mellow Mushroom is still recovering from how much pizza disappeared last night.

Grateful for these students. Grateful for nights like this.

Snow days doesn’t mean we stop learning. ❄️

Because of the weather, tomorrow night’s in person ROOTS gathering is canceled.

But we’re not hitting pause on growing together.

Tomorrow afternoon I’ll be posting an online lesson right here as we jump into the first three chapters of Romans. And trust me this is one you don’t want to miss.

Even though weather kept us from gathering in person tonight, we still wanted to stay connected.

Below is a short ROOTS devotional video for our students to watch at home this afternoon. It’s a simple reminder that even when plans change, God’s love and purpose for us do not.

We are so excited to finally share that our new ROOTS youth space is officially finished!
What started as a vision for a place where students could belong, grow, and encounter Jesus is now a reality. New space, new energy, same mission. We are incredibly grateful for every person who prayed, gave, built, and believed in what God is doing in and through our youth. This room is already filled with purpose, and the best is still ahead!

One of our ROOTS students brought two friends this Sunday and they jumped right in with the PewCrew like they had always been there. That’s what it’s all about. Showing up. Sitting together. Growing together.

Got friends? Bring them.
Need friends? Come find them.

Okay ROOTS family, here’s something new we’re rolling out on Sunday mornings. We’re calling it the .

The idea is simple. We want our youth to sit together in worship. Not scattered all over the sanctuary. Not just showing up and zoning out. But together. Singing together. Listening together. Growing together.

When we show up together, it builds unity. It reminds us that we’re in this walk of faith as a family, not by ourselves.

So on Sunday mornings, look for the ROOTS section in the sanctuary. That’s the crew. That’s home base.

Come sit with us. Come worship with us. Come grow with us at Fairview Church.

Almost a year ago, our youth group took on a new name and a new vision — and wow, what a year it’s been!
ROOTS has become more than a name. We’ve seen roots being planted deep in Christ, relationships with Him strengthened, and faith taking hold in incredible ways.

We’re not just growing in numbers… we’re growing in the Lord!

If you’re a teen (grades 6–12) or have one in your home, come join us Sunday nights from 5pm to 7pm and start planting your ROOTS deep in Christ!
