Big things are coming soon to The Workshop. In February, we will looking to get together as a group of guys and get to work. What will we be working on? You will have to come to find out, but just know that you are going to have the opportunity to get involved in some projects that have the potential to be life-changers for some. Guys…. Mark your calendar for our monthly men’s breakfast this coming Saturday at 8.30 am at Compassion. The cooking crew will provide breakfast and we will have a speaker sharing his story. We’ll be looking g for you on Saturday!

⬇️ Read This ⬇️

This is a pic of lemon tree. This lemon tree is nearly 10 years old. For the first 6 years it didn’t produce one lemon. Folks said to trim it. I did and no lemons. Others told me to fertilize it. I did and no lemons. So I gave up on it and bought a little orange tree (in foreground). All of a sudden the lemon tree starts producing lemons. It didn’t need better soil, more light or more to eat...all that was missing was cross pollination. It required pollen from the orange tree.

You and I cannot make it in the church just because the ground is fertile and there’s plenty of light. We need each other. We need friends. We need connections, not only to God, but to the body. I need you brother. And you need me. Make an effort to connect with people of like precious faith. Invite someone over for fellowship. Invite someone out for coffee or a burger. Especially reach out to new members who need a connection. Get involved in a bible study. It’s the only way you will ever be able to produce fruit.

2 things to help you in your marriage today:

1- Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the Church - this means we are to care more about our wife than we care about ourself. Even if she doesn't do that for you, keep showing her the love of Christ.

2 - Ask yourself throughout the day, what does my wife need from me, and then do whatever you can to provide what she needs.
