Here we Snow Again.
Sunday, Feb. 8 worship service on Zoom only.

Dear Friends,

In light of the major new snowfall across Essex County, including right here in Danvers, the extreme sub‑zero wind-chill expected on Sunday, and the Danvers Town parking ban that went into effect this morning, our wardens—Carol Bouffard and John Gettings—have determined that the safest choice is to hold Sunday Worship on Zoom this week.

We invite everyone to join us from home, warm and safe, while still gathering as one community in prayer.

⟡ Sunday Worship – February 8
⟡ Online only (Zoom-- Meeting ID: 134 596 872)
⟡ Vestry Meeting immediately follows the service, also on Zoom

Stay safe, stay warm, and we look forward to seeing you online for worship.

To join our virtual worship, you need the following information:

Shoe Us the Love!
All Saints Episcopal Church Invites You to Join Our Community Shoe Drive

Here’s your chance to clean out your closets and make a difference!

All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore is hosting the “Shoe Us the Love!” campaign—a community-wide fundraising shoe drive to support our feeding ministries, including the Brown Bag Lunch Brigade, which provides sandwiches, cookies, and chips for our unhoused neighbors, and our Community Meal Team, which prepares meals for Haven from Hunger, offering trays of filling, nutritious hot meals that help to serve the estimated 125 to 200 attendees there per day.

How You Can Help:
Donate new or gently worn shoes of any style or size—sneakers, boots, high heels, and more. Every pair helps! Drop off your shoes in the collection box in the church Narthex on Sundays during service (9:30 to 10:30 AM-- and feel welcome to join us and enjoy the service!) -- or bring them to the parish office during these hours:

Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Thursday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Where:
All Saints Episcopal Church, 46 Cherry Street, Danvers. Enter through the Parish Hall Office side -- the second red door on Cherry Street. Ample free on-street parking is available.

Why Donate?
Your donated shoes help accomplish three things: they help make more room in your closets, they help fund our feeding ministries, and they're sent to Funds2Orgs, where they’re redistributed to small business owners in developing countries. These entrepreneurs resell the shoes, supporting their families with essentials like food, housing, and education.

Every pair you give is a step toward hope and opportunity—both locally and globally.

So, join us. Let’s make a difference together!

The shoe drive runs through March 31st and helps us turn shoes into meals, hope, and brighter futures for our neighbors near and far. For more information, please call the Parish Office at
978-744-1150 or email [email protected]

Thank you.

Welcoming the Rev. Manny Faria to All Saints

The Rev. Manny Faria joins All Saints Episcopal Church for a two-month season of supply ministry, bringing with him nearly three decades of ordained experience, a journalist’s clarity of thought and writing, and a pastor’s presence.

He began today, Sunday, January 4, 2026, by officiating at our 9:30 AM Holy Eucharist and preaching the gospel.

Before entering ordained ministry in 1996, Manny spent some 15 years as a professional journalist, working for publications including the Danbury News-Times in Connecticut. His career began as a community reporter, first with the Concord (Mass.) Journal, where he learned to shape stories, meet tight deadlines, and witness history from the ground up. Those years honed the gifts he now brings to his ministry: clarity, deep listening, compassion, and the ability to speak to the heart of a moment.

Manny holds a degree in journalism from Boston University and a Master of Divinity from Yale, where he relished exploring a wide range of worship traditions, even as he prepared for the Episcopal priesthood. He speaks of his call to the priesthood with humility, crediting both a deepening faith and the steadfast encouragement of his wife, a person of faith who “was there right along” as he discerned his new vocation.

Many across the North Shore know Manny for his long ministry as Rector of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Beverly, where he served for more than 22 years.

Since retiring from St. Peter’s, he has embraced supply ministry, accompanying congregations whose Rector was on sabbatical or on vacation, and parishes in transition, providing grounded leadership. He has also served the congregation of First Baptist Church of Beverly as a temporary pastoral minister—an experience he describes as rich, ecumenical, and full of good people.

In worship, Manny’s preaching weaves Scripture with lived experience. In pastoral settings, he is known for his calm presence, gentle demeanor, and gift of meeting people where they are.

At home, Manny and his wife, Lou Ann, who have two grown daughters, share life with their mastiff mix dog, Jack Daniels, and cat, Ginny. They recently said goodbye to their beloved senior Frenchie/Boston mix, Lily, 17, whom they rescued and cherished in her final years—a testament to the tenderness and care that also shapes Manny’s ministry.

Manny comes to All Saints simply to offer the liturgy for God’s people and help us continue on our path. We, in turn, are grateful for his presence, his warmth, and the steady pastoral heart he brings to our sacred space.

Please join us in welcoming The Rev. Manny Faria to All Saints. We look forward to worshiping, learning, and experiencing his grace in the weeks ahead.

Feel like candlelight and quiet hope this Christmas Eve at All Saints Episcopal North Shore

In a world stretched perilously thin by strain and sorrow,
a holy hush begins to gather.

We ready our hearts to welcome the Prince of Peace,
The One who slips into our weary lives
with gentleness enough to steady us,
and joy enough to kindle light where shadows linger.

Come and rest in the promise of His coming.
Come and let your soul be settled, your spirit renewed,
your hope rekindled.

Make spirits bright for those who protect ours. Join us at All Saints on Wednesday, November 19, from 11:30 to 2 PM for a festive wrapping party to support our troops. We'll have pizza and goodies provided while we wrap and get into the holiday spirit. Please bring adult white socks for men and women to add to their packages.

The wrapping gathering is hosted by All Saints for Operation Troop Support (OTS)—a local nonprofit dedicated to caring for our deployed service members and their families.

It takes place in Parish Hall, 46 Cherry Street, the second red door from the corner of Holten and Cherry Street. There's plenty of on-street parking available. See you there!

What makes a priest a gifted homilist?

It’s someone who speaks with grace, clarity, and spiritual insight—who weaves theology and lived experience into a compelling story that touches heart and mind. It’s someone whose words reflect humility, emotional depth, and authenticity, helping the message feel honest, transformative, and offered specifically for *you.*.

The Rev. Ann Perrott, bridge priest at All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore, is just such a homilist.

Watch her below—and come experience her preaching in person, three Sundays a month at All Saints North Shore.
For dates, call the church office at 978-774-1150.
