Mark your calendar for Juneteenth Flag raising at Danvers Town Hall on Thursday, June 18th with North Shore Juneteenth Association Inc.. On Sunday, June 14th, NSUU's worship service will commemorate Juneteenth.

The Juneteenth season is upon us! We are proud that the North Shore Juneteenth Association is collaborating with multiple communities to host Juneteenth flag-raising ceremonies and events throughout the region.

These gatherings are moments of reflection, education, unity, and celebration of freedom, resilience, and Black history.

Revere, Lynn, Marblehead, Swampscott, Danvers, Salem, and many more communities are coming together to honor the significance of Juneteenth and the continued journey toward equity and justice.

The Juneteenth flag itself symbolizes freedom expanding across the nation and the enduring fight for liberation.

We invite residents, families, organizations, and allies to join us at one or more of these meaningful events as we raise the flag, uplift Black voices, and celebrate culture and community together.
