Mountainview Christian Camp We have been serving Christ for over 50 years. The program at Mountainview is designed to be a Christian Service camp, not just a camp for entertainment.

Mountainview Christian Camp is made up of many area upstate New York churches that volunteer their money, time, talents, but most of all their love for Jesus Christ. Our goal is to urge each other to serve others as Christ does for us. If you have been to Mountainview in the past, you know that there is no lack of entertainment and fun that comes with serving Christ. We run events on the campgroun

Hey Mountainview Friends and Family. We have a cool opportunity to help Mountainview during the month of June. A couple of years ago we were gifted a bunch of hats to honor Mountainview's 60th anniversary and since then they have been kept in storage as we figured out how to use them. So for the rest of the month of June we are going to do a little fundraiser. Anyone who donates $40 or more to Mountainview during the month of June, we would love to send you a hat. To donate you can go to https://mountainviewchristiancamp.squarespace.com/donations which has a way of donating online, and information about how to donate through the mail. When you donate, please provide information about where you would like the hat to be sent so that we can send it to you after the fundraiser is over.

These funds will be used in many ways to help run camp. From allowing us to keep registration rates low, to helping offset costs from maintenance projects around camp like theroof repairs and kitchen upgrades we have been working on this spring.

We know finances can be tight right now so if donating is not an option currently, there are still other ways you can help out Mountainview as we enter the camping season. In addtion to finances, we are always looking for prayer for the success of our programs and the increase in their outreach. We also are always looking for volunteers during camp weeks and especially as we work to get the campus ready for the summer.

We are excited to see what God has in store for us as we look towards the upcomming summer camp season, and look at the years to come and hope you will be a part of it.

We have a new logo!

Over the next year you will see the simpler more modern logo a little more as we try to embrace a more digitally friendly logo for a digital age. This new logo will help us explore new opportunities and hopefully get our name out there so that people will know there is a place in West Sparta, NY that they can experience the truth and love of Jesus every summer.

This doesn't mean we are changing who we are as a camp or getting rid of the classic logo that everyone loves. The classic logo is a part of us and a this digital age won't change that. The classic logo will remain in many of the places you can find it now, and we are exploring other cool ways to use it, in fact, we plan to announce something soon which will be utilizing a version of the classic logo.

We are looking forward to what the 2026 season has to offer with its mixture of old classics and new favorites and hope you will join us for the adventure!

The first program happening at Mountainview for the 2026 camp season is a little over a week away with the Young Adults Retreat hosted by Anchor Christian Church on our campus May 15th and 16th. When life gets tough, it can be good to take some time and retreat. It doesn't mean that we are giving up but instead falling back to a place where we can regroup and strengthen our relationship with God so that we can navigate the difficult times in life.

Our fall retreats are fast approaching with the ladies' retreat starting this Friday September 19th and our men's retreat starting next Friday September 26th. More information on our retreats can be found at our website.

Our last summer youth program of the year ended a couple of days ago. Through the many programs we had a total of 8 baptisms with many campers sharing with us that they are planning on studying the bible a little more to get baptized in the near future.

While the youth programs are done for the year, we still have some more events happening next month.

Worship is something special at camp. You have a band that doesn't often perform together, some maybe never before, coming together for a shared purpose: to lead those at camp in worship. Here is a video of one of the songs sung during the first worship set of Sr. High week this past week.

While most of our youth programs are done for the year, if you have children going into grades 7th-12th there is one more program left that they can attend. Mountain Do week starts today and goes through Wendesday. This is a unique week where we focus on service as we do service projects both on campus and in the community.
