Now that I'm saved.....what's next?
This is a question that is often asked(or thought)by those who have recently trusted Jesus as their personal Saviour.

The answer is given in 2 Peter 3:18 "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. ..."

The moment our faith was placed in Christ, we were saved by God's amazing grace!
Now that we're saved, by grace....we are also kept by his grace....and in order to grow, we are to grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The grace of God is there with us every inch of the way, as we grow in grace!
Even when we feel like we're not growing spiritually....grace hasn't went away!
God's grace is still there!

Grace and Jesus can't be separated in our growth as a Christian, any more that grace and Jesus could have been separated in our salvation!

We're saved by grace through faith in our Saviour Jesus Christ, and we grow in grace in the knowledge of our Saviour Jesus Christ!

This growth and knowledge comes by God's word and God's church!

If a child of God doesn't read God's word....the Child of God won't grow!
If a child of God is not faithful to a local Bible Believing Church, then the child of God will not grow!

When I say Bible, I mean the King James Bible!
When I say local Bible Believing Church, I mean a church that believes the Bible!

Some will ask, what about baptism?
Shouldn't I be baptized after I am now saved.
Certainly!
I believe every child of God, should(if physically able)be baptized!
I believe that scriptural baptism is being obedient in showing that you've trusted in Christ and you're making it public..... baptism doesn't save you, keep you saved, or even add to your salvation.... baptism is simply being obedient!
BUT, our obedience shouldn't stop at baptism!
Our obedience in following Christ should begin before baptism....it should begin the moment we got saved, and this growth should continue on throughout our Christian life!

The two things we see in 2 Peter 3:18 concerning our growth are grace, and knowledge of Jesus!

This is why I preach much about being faithful to find a local Church that can help you grow!

You'll not grow if you're not rooted, and if you're not rooted in church.....then grace....although it won't leave you, because you've been saved by it, will be the only experience of God's grace you'll see in your life!

God wants us to experience the growth in his grace, each and every day!
Grace should be something we relish in, from the time we get up in the morning....till the time we go to bed at night!
Grace is with us as we sleep!
Grace and knowledge of Jesus, is what we grow in!

Let me encourage you....if you've recently(or even not so recently) trusted in Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour....let me encourage you to find yourself a good solid Bible Believing Bible Preaching Soul Winning New Testament Church!

Charles G Finny, the great soul winning revival preacher of the 2nd Great Awakening said,
"The Church must take the right ground in regards to politics....
Politics are a part of religion in such a country as this, and Christians must do their duty to the country as part of their duty to God..... God will bless or curse this nation, according to the course Christians take in politics."

The Bible says in Proverbs 29:2, "When the righteous are in authority the people rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."

If we lose this election, the people who love this nation will fulfill the last part of the verse in Proverbs 29:2....and for the most part... we'll have only ourselves to blame!

If every true Christian would vote, we wouldn't be so close as to losing this Nation!

As Bible Believing Christians, we cannot sit this election out!
I believe It is the duty and responsibly as a born again child of God, to VOTE AGAINST the evil that seeks to destroy our State and our Nation!
That evil of course being, the Democratic Socialist Party aka
Demon'rat'ic mob of Communist!

You'll not convince me you have a love for Christ, if you can also vote for a bunch of abortionists(those who murder babies!),sodomites, and Islamic terrorists, etc....who hate Christianity, the Christian home, and a Christian Nation!

In Georgia, Jon Ossoff is leading in the polls for another term in the US Senate....and sadly enough, if he wins, he will have been voted in by some who actually attend church(or what they call a church).
Personally, I think the man is possessed of devils, and no one with any morals could even think of voting for him, or for any Democrat for that matter!

Hopefully, and prayerfully Rick Jackson will be our next governor, and Bottoms will "bottom out" on election day!
But you can never tell, because of the self inflicted ignorance, due to the satanic blindness of thousands of Georgia voters, who haven't a clue to what it means to be patriotic or moral!

I've said it, and I'll say it again,
"You can't sing, Oh how I love Jesus on Sunday, and then turn around and vote for a Democrat on Tuesday!"

If this post offends you, and it rubs the "cats fur" the wrong way....
My advice is to not get mad, but just turn the cat around!

And the only way to vote right, is to VOTE SOLID REPUBLICAN RED!

Yes indeed, I have many faults, and one of my biggest faults is, I don't pray enough!

With that said, please remember a very dear reenactor friend in prayer this morning.

He is having a serious heart stent procedure done at some point this morning, or early afternoon.
He needs our prayers today!
All the prayers of God's people, who will take a moment to pray for him, pray for his healing, pray for the doctors, nurses, and technicians who are doing the procedure....and pray for his family.
These prayers are greatly appreciated!

What a blessed time we had this past weekend at the Historic Fair/ Reenactment, in Andersonville Georgia!
We were able to hand out many tracts, make new friends.... fellowship with old friends, and enjoy the picture perfect weather all weekend!

Above everything else, we had a wonderful Church Call yesterday morning!
The message was on "The Living Water" out of John Chapters four and seven, and Revelation 22:17.

To God be the glory...two precious souls were saved at the service!
What a privilege it is to serve Christ in what He has called you to do!

Thank you all who pray for, and help support this ministry!

Please pray for those who were saved yesterday, and pray for Old Paths Reenactors Missions, as we get ready to head down to Living History/ Reenactment at the Jeff Davis Park in Irwinville Ga November 7th-8th
