RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SATURDAY 24TH OCTOBER 2026.

โœจDON'T LIMIT GOD'S GRACEโœจ

For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

PASTOR CHRIS SAYS;
================

Notice that the scripture above doesnโ€™t only speak of receiving righteousness; it also speaks of receiving abundance of grace. Righteousness is a settled gift imparted to you at the New Birth. Grace, however, is God's limitless supply for your life, and He wants you to take full advantage of it. That's why He says, "...be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus" (2 Timothy 2:1).

Donโ€™t limit Godโ€™s grace. Grace is available to every Christian, and you can receive as much of it as you can take a hold of. The Greek word is โ€œLambanoโ€; it means to take hold of something and make it yours. God isn't limiting His grace, so don't limit your reception of it. Keep receiving more and more grace for greater strength, greater wisdom, greater effectiveness, and greater victories in your walk with Him.

Sadly, some approach God with hesitation. They say, "The Lord has already done so much for me; I shouldn't ask Him for too much." Others even feel apologetic whenever they pray for greater opportunities, bigger dreams, or increased resources. But that's not the language of faith, nor is it the mindset of grace.

God has never asked us to lower our expectations. Rather, He invites us to ask, receive, and walk in the fullness of His provisions. The Bible says, โ€œBut he giveth more graceโ€ฆโ€ (James 4:6). He said in Hebrews 4:16, โ€œLet us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.โ€ Then in John 16:24, the Lord Jesus said, โ€œโ€ฆask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.โ€

Never think your requests are too great for God or that your dreams exceed His ability. He delights in your faith. Heโ€™s the one who said, "Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession" (Psalm 2:8). He has more than enough for every one of His children. Therefore, refuse to think small.

Don't limit God's grace by limiting your faith. Keep receiving from His inexhaustible supply, confident that His grace is available to you in abundance for every assignment and every opportunity He's given you.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for your abundant grace at work in my life. I boldly receive all that you have made available to me in Christ. I refuse to limit my faith or my expectations but continually take full advantage of your grace, walking in the fullness of your wisdom, strength, provision and victory, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC
And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].

2 Timothy 2:1 KJV
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus

Hebrews 4:16 KJV
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

FRIDAY OCTOBER 23RD 2026

HIS LIGHT TO YOUR WORLD

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9).

PASTOR CHRIS EXPLAINS;
===================

Notice the tenses in the scripture we just read; it emphasises a present reality: You've been called out of darkness into Godโ€™s marvellous light. This must become your consciousness. You're not trying to get into the light; you live there now.

This is consistent with what the Bible says in Colossians 1:12-13, _*โ€œGiving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.โ€*_ Darkness has no dominion or jurisdiction over you because you've been translated into the Kingdom of light.

Now, in that marvellous light, sickness has no place. Fear cannot triumph. Defeat, poverty, sin, and death are vanquished. Youโ€™re forever in glory and dominion. Hallelujah! Also, notice that God didnโ€™t merely stop at telling you where you now live; He also reveals why He brought you there: to show forth His praises.

The Amplified Classic of the opening scripture renders it beautifully: "...that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." Godโ€™s purpose is to build His character in you, to reveal His glory in you. You become the walking glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, the expression of His beauty to your world.

He wants you to display His virtues and perfections in your family, workplace, business, profession, and everywhere. If you couldn't do it, He wouldn't have told you to. He brought you into His marvellous light to make you His light to your world: โ€œYe are the light of the worldโ€ฆโ€ (Matthew 5:14).

๐Ÿ™PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for calling me out of darkness into your marvellous light. I live in the consciousness of this glorious reality today, displaying your virtues, perfections, excellence, and glory to my world. My life is the expression of your beauty and character, and through me, many are brought into your marvellous light and the knowledge of your saving grace, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THURSDAY 22ND OCTOBER 2026.

โœจRIGHT LIVING BEGINS WITH RIGHTEOUSNESSโœจ

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).

PASTOR CHRIS EXPLAINS;
===================

Many Christians sincerely love God. They worship passionately, pray fervently, and strive to live holy lives. Yet, despite their sincerity, they continue trying to attain what God has already given them in Christ. They believe that if they pray more, do more good works, or become more disciplined, they'll eventually become righteous. But that's not the Gospel.

The Bible makes a clear distinction between righteousness and right living. Righteousness is your nature in Christ; right living is the expression of that nature. In other words, right living is the result of righteousness, not the means of attaining it.

If righteousness could be achieved through human effort, Jesus Christ would never have needed to come. His death, burial, and resurrection made available what no amount of personal striving could ever produce. The moment you were born again, you were made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. It wasn't a reward for good behaviour or years of faithful service; it was God's gracious gift to you in Christ (Romans 5:17).

2 Corinthians 5:21 says, โ€œFor he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.โ€ Because you've been made righteous, you now have the capacity to live right. Just as a good tree naturally bears good fruits, your recreated spirit produces fruits and works of righteousness because that's your nature.

God's order is always from the inside out. He first gave you His righteousness as your nature, and now He expects that nature to find expression in your thoughts, words, and actions. This is why the Christian life isn't sustained by self-effort but by the life of Christ in you, manifested through your daily walk.

Never measure your standing before God by your โ€œperformance.โ€ Your righteous standing is founded on the finished works of Christ: _*โ€œFor by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boastโ€*_ (Ephesians 2:8-9).

As you grow in the knowledge of who you are in Him, your conduct increasingly reflects His righteousness that's already at work within you. Thatโ€™s because right living is the inevitable result of righteousness.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for making me your righteousness in Christ Jesus. I live in the reality of my new life and nature in Christ, producing the works and fruits of righteousness through the power of your Spirit. My life is the expression of your divine nature, excellence, holiness and victory, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

WEDNESDAY, 21ST OCTOBER 2026

THE STRONG MAN HAS BEEN BOUND

Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house(Matthew 12:29).

PASTOR CHRIS SAYS;
================

The Lord Jesus unveiled a profound spiritual principle when He spoke about binding the strong man. He explained that before a strong man's house can be plundered, the strong man himself must first be bound. In those words, He revealed His mission and ultimate triumph over Satan.

For generations, humanity lived under the influence of darkness. Satan exercised dominion over the world system and held men captive through fear, deception, and bo***ge. But God had a plan. The Lord Jesus came to confront the adversary and dismantle his authority.

The ministry of Jesus was a continual demonstration of His superiority over the devil. He cast out demons, healed the sick, delivered the oppressed, and exercised dominion over every work of darkness. His death on the Cross and triumphant resurrection brought that victory to its culmination. The adversary who had held mankind in bo***ge was defeated.

The Bible says, โ€œโ€ฆFor this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devilโ€ (1 John 3:8). This understanding is the reason we donโ€™t negotiate with Satan or his cohorts of darkness: we cast them out: โ€œAnd these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devilsโ€ฆโ€ (Mark 16:17).

You're not confronting a powerful enemy. You're standing in the authority of the One who has already subdued him. Through Christ Jesus, your victory over Satan was a decisive oneโ€”absolute victory. Therefore, refuse to live in fear of the devil or his works. Live in the consciousness of Christ's triumph.

CONFESSION
In Christ, I have defeated Satan and the forces of darkness. I walk in the dominion and power of the resurrected Christ, and in the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Iโ€™m superior to Satan, his systems and his structures. Iโ€™m established forever in the victory of Christ. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TUESDAY 20TH OCTOBER 2026.

โœจCHRIST JESUSโ€”THE ULTIMATE REDEEMERโœจ

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace (Ephesians 1:7).

Redemption is one of the beautiful truths in the Gospel because it reveals not only what Christ accomplished, but also who He is. The Scriptures present the picture of a redeemer as one who has both the legal right and the ability to secure another's freedom. In the Lord Jesus Christ, we find the perfect and ultimate fulfilment of that picture. He is the Redeemer who paid the full price for our salvation and brought us into everlasting freedom.

In the law of Moses, a kinsman-redeemer could redeem a relative who had fallen into debt or bo***ge. The redeemer had a legal right to act on behalf of the one in need, but he also had to pay the required price. Freedom wasn't obtained by mere desire or good intentions; a price had to be paid.

This helps us understand the significance of Christ's sacrifice. Humanity's greatest problem was not merely the devil's oppression; it was the issue of sin. Sin had brought separation from God and placed mankind under judgment. The righteous demands of justice had to be satisfied. A price had to be paid.

What a blessing to know that the Lord Jesus took our place and paid the full price required for our redemption. The payment wasn't silver or gold; it was His precious blood. The Bible says, โ€œForasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and goldโ€ฆBut with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spotโ€ (1 Peter 1:18-19).

When He shed His blood, He obtained eternal redemption for us. The debt was settled. The claims against us were satisfied. The penalty of sin was fully addressed. The Lord Jesus paid the price you could never pay. He accomplished what you could never accomplish for yourself.

Through His sacrifice, you've been brought into righteousness and fellowship with God. He met every demand of divine justice, paid the full price with His own blood, and secured your eternal liberty. Therefore, live with gratitude and confidence, knowing that your salvation is eternally secure in Him.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the redemption that is mine through the blood of Jesus Christ. I rejoice in the knowledge that the full price for my salvation has been paid. I walk in righteousness, in fellowship with you, and in grateful acknowledgment of the fulfilment of the full blessings of the Gospel in my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

1 Peter 1:18-19 NIV
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, [19] but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

Hebrews 9:11-15 KJV
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; [12] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. [13] For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: [14] How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? [15] And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY 19TH OCTOBER 2026.

โœจHIS TRIUMPH OVER DARKNESSโœจ

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it (Colossians 2:15).

PASTOR CHRIS SAYS;
================

The Lord Jesus didnโ€™t only die for our sins; the Bible also reveals His absolute triumph over Satan and the forces of darkness. Colossians 2:15 (WNT) paints a vivid picture of this victory. It says, "And the hostile princes and rulers He shook off from Himself, and boldly displayed them as His conquests, when by the Cross He triumphed over them."

The Lord Jesus stripped principalities and powers of their authority, defeated the forces of darkness, and openly displayed them as conquered foes. Having borne the judgment for sin, He secured eternal salvation for mankind. He broke the chains that held humanity captive and emerged from death as the triumphant Conqueror.

The Bible presents one of the aspects of redemption as the work of a conquering king. When a victorious king invades a territory and defeats its oppressors, he doesn't negotiate with them or pay a ransom for the prisoners. He conquers the enemy and sets the captives free.

This helps us understand an important dimension of Christ's redemptive work: He didnโ€™t pay to purchase manโ€™s freedom from Satan. Rather, He defeated him. Before going to the Cross, Jesus lived a sinless life and demonstrated His mastery over the world and its rulerโ€”Satan, the god of this world. He conquered the world because He first conquered the god of this world.

This victory was not for Himself but for you. He conquered the enemy and gave you the victory. The Scriptures tell us that before a strong man's house can be spoiled, the strong man must first be bound (Mark 3:27). The Lord Jesus bound Satan, the strong man. He defeated Satan in his own territory, broke the chains of darkness, and liberated mankind from his dominion.

Today, you're not fighting or striving for victory; you're living in the victory of Christ. In Christ, you've been translated out of the jurisdiction of darkness and brought into God's Kingdom of light. Therefore, walk in confidence and dominion, knowing that in Christ youโ€™ve conquered Satan, overcome the world, and crucified the flesh.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the victory you've given me in Christ Jesus. I rejoice in the knowledge that in Christ, I conquered Satan, overcame the world, and have come into liberty and triumph. I walk in dominion today, conscious of my authority in Christ and my life of ever-increasing glory, unending victory and abundant grace, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 18TH 2026

REDEMPTION FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us... (Galatians 3:13).

PASTOR CHRIS EXPLAINS;
===================

Some people wrongly assume that every reference to redemption in the New Testament refers to redemption from the curse of the Law. But a careful study of the Scriptures reveals something important: the Law was given to Israel not to the Gentiles. Therefore, only those who were under the Law could be redeemed from its curse. In the above verse, Paul meant โ€œusโ€ Jews, distinguishing them from the Gentiles in verse 14.

That means redemption from the curse of the Law was for the Jews. Understanding this distinction helps you appreciate the precision of God's Word and the broader scope of the redemption that Christ accomplished. The Gentiles were never under the Law. The Bible says they were "...aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world" (Ephesians 2:12).

Thus, as stated, the curse associated with the Law applied to those who were under its jurisdiction; Christ became a curse to redeem the Jews from its curse. This doesn't diminish the greatness of Christ's redemptive work; rather, it helps us understand it more accurately. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God brought salvation to all mankind. Through His blood, we have remission of sins, justification, reconciliation with God and the gift of eternal life.

The Christian was not redeemed but reborn, and thereโ€™s a great difference. We were brought into a newness of life, into glorious liberty to serve the Lord. We were born into His light, glory, and righteousness. We werenโ€™t the ones who were redeemed from the curse of the Law. Hallelujah!

๐Ÿ™PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the light of your Word and my glorious liberty in Christ Jesus to serve you and live for you in righteousness and truth. My understanding is enlightened to know and walk in the realities of my new life in Christ as I grow in spiritual maturity and accuracy through your Word. I live in the freedom, righteousness, and eternal life that Christ has made available to me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SATURDAY, 17TH OCTOBER 2026

THE LEGAL SIDE OF OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

And all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus (Romans 3:24 NIV).

Having understood from our previous study the importance of righteousness and its vital place in the Christian life, it's important to understand how this righteousness became yours. The Apostle Paul gives us a profound insight in Romans 3:24 when he says weโ€™re justified freely by Godโ€™s grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Notice the word "justified." What does it mean to be justified? To be justified means to be declared righteous. This is the legal side of our righteousness. It is God's verdict concerning everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. This is the acquittal. This is a legal pronouncement from God Himself. The Judge of all the earth has declared you righteous.

Think about the significance of that. God didn't merely overlook your sins or decide to ignore your failures. He declared you righteous. He gave a verdict in your favour. This is why the Christian can stand before God without guilt, condemnation, or a sense of inferiority. His confidence rests not in personal performance but in God's declaration.

Romans 3:26 says, โ€œTo declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.โ€ The beauty of the Gospel is that this justification came freely by Godโ€™s grace. Righteousness is a gift of grace. We didn't qualify for it. God's favour was extended to us because of His love. Itโ€™s based on what Christ has done in your behalf.

This understanding transforms your relationship with God. Instead of striving to become accepted, you realise you've already been accepted in Christ: โ€œTo the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the belovedโ€ (Ephesians 1:6). Walk in this reality.

Refuse to be moved by Satanโ€™s accusations, feelings of unworthiness, or memories of past mistakes. God's verdict concerning you has already been established. Through Jesus Christ, you've been acquitted and declared righteous: โ€œโ€ฆyou have been washed, you have been made holy, you have been given righteousness in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our Godโ€ (1 Corinthians 6:11 BBE). Let this truth dominate your thinking and shape your walk with God.

CONFESSION
Iโ€™ve been washed, made holy, righteous, and sanctified in Christ Jesus. I rejoice in the reality of my justification. I refuse to live under condemnation or guilt because Godโ€™s Word has revealed that Christ is my righteousness. Therefore, I live boldly in Godโ€™s presence, enjoying the full blessings of the Gospel and my right standing with God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Acts 13:38-39 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: [39] And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Romans 8:33-34 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. [34] Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
