Knights of Columbus Council No. 29 - Danbury, CT, USA McGivney Council No. 29 Knights of Columbus McGivney Council No. 29 is the KofC chapter for much of Danbury, Connecticut. Ann (Melkite Rite),

Council territory includes eight parishes:

St. Joseph (the council's home parish),
Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Our Lady of Guadalupe,
St. Anthony (Maronite Rite),
St. Gregory the Great,
St. Nicholas (Byzantine Rite), and
St. KofC is a charitable fraternal organization supporting Catholic churches and schools and helping the needy. KofC's mission to help widows and children today includes a top-rate

d insurance program. Council No. 29 members who are also Fourth-Degree members of KofC also participate in the Danbury-area Rev. Kennedy Assembly No. 99, whose activities include Color Corps participation in events such as Confirmations and parades. (See "John D. Kennedy" on Facebook.)

I can’t believe it’s already that time of year again! Knights of Columbus Council 29 in Danbury is planning for our Annual Charity Golf Outing on September 23rd and we’re looking for sponsors and golfers. All proceeds benefit back to the community. Just a few of the things we do:

-Coats for Kids - this past year we were able to purchase and donate more than 380 brand new coats for children in Danbury that likely would have gone without
-Food for families – this past year we helped donate more than $3000 directly as well as coordinate food drives in the area
-Benefits for individuals with intellectual disabilities -this past year, we were able to donate more than $2000 for Ability Beyond
-Scholarships for education – we were able to donate $4,500 in scholarships to Immaculate High School and Canterbury High School
-and so much more!
