We are a Eastern Rite Catholic Church in full communion with Rome.

Saint Ann Melkite Catholic Church is an Eastern Rite Catholic parish of the Eparchy of Newton. Our rich liturgical tradition is experienced in the Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom, community prayer, the celebration of the sacraments, and immersion in the mystical experience of Byzantine iconic art that adorns our church. We are a parish family of diverse backgrounds founded in 1910 by earl

y immigrants of the Melkite tradition and deeply integrated into the Danbury community. We welcome you to our page and invite you to join us for Divine Liturgy Sundays at 10:00 am and our coffee hour following immediately in the Church Hall.

On Saturday, February 21, 2026, the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, authorized the beatification of Venerable Bechara Abou-Mourad, a Lebanese priest of the Basilian Order of the Most Holy Saviour of the Melkites. He was know for his intense piety and tireless work for the salvation of souls. Here is a link to a wonderful movie that depicts his inspiring life!
