🔎 SPIRITUAL INVENTORY — PART 2 | THIS THURSDAY

Sometimes the things blocking God’s work in our lives aren’t the things we immediately recognize.

This Thursday at Celebrate Recovery, Rodney will take us through Spiritual Inventory Part 2, continuing our journey through Principle 4 and Step 4.

We’ll take an honest look at four important areas of our lives:

🧠 Our Mind — What are we allowing to influence our thoughts?
❤️ Our Body — How are we caring for what God has given us?
🏠 Our Family — How are we treating the people closest to us?
⛪ Our Church — Are we connected, serving, and growing in our faith?

A spiritual inventory isn’t about dwelling on everything we’ve done wrong. It’s about honestly identifying what may be standing in the way of the healing, freedom, and growth God wants to bring into our lives.

There may be some things that need cleared out—and we don’t have to do it alone. 🙌

🔎 WHAT’S REALLY GOING ON INSIDE?

It’s easy to notice what needs to change around us. It takes courage to ask God to show us what needs to change within us.

This Thursday at Celebrate Recovery, we’re diving into Spiritual Inventory Part 1, and taking an honest look at our hearts, our hurts, our habits, and the things we may have been carrying longer than we realize.

This isn’t about shame or beating ourselves up. It’s about letting God shine His light into the places we’ve tried to hide so He can begin bringing healing, freedom, and change. 🙌

🍽️ DINNER NIGHT + JOHNNIE’S TESTIMONY! 🙌
Come hungry… for dinner AND for an incredible story of what God can do! ❤️

Johnnie’s story is one of abandonment, rejection, co-dependency, isolation, and struggling to believe she was enough. But God didn’t leave her story there.

When she walked through the doors of Celebrate Recovery in 2022, she thought she was coming because of someone else. God quickly showed her, “I brought you here for YOU.”

Since then, God has transformed her relationships, taught her healthy boundaries, surrounded her with people who love her, and shown her what it means to truly belong.

This Thursday, come hear Johnnie share her story of finding grace, freedom, belonging, and a personal relationship with Jesus.

Celebrate Recovery is MORE than drugs & alcohol. ❤️‍🩹

One of the biggest misconceptions about Celebrate Recovery is that you have to struggle with drugs or alcohol to belong here.

You don't.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, safe place where we can face life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits from A to Z, with Jesus Christ leading the way.

Maybe your struggle is anger.
Maybe it's anxiety.
Maybe it's codependency or control.
Maybe it's grief, fear, forgiveness, food issues, gambling, people-pleasing, po*******hy, relationship struggles, resentment, or something you've never told anyone about.

You don't have to wait until your life is falling apart to ask for help.

We ALL have something.

And at Celebrate Recovery, you don't have to pretend that everything is okay. You can find a Forever Family that will walk alongside you as you pursue healing, freedom, and a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Jesus, thank You for meeting us exactly where we are. Give us the courage to face the areas of our lives that need healing and the humility to ask for help. Break down the walls of shame, fear, and isolation that keep us from experiencing the freedom You have for us. Surround us with people who will encourage us, challenge us, pray with us, and point us back to You. Lead the way as we take our next step toward healing.

What an honor and a blessing to serve our community! ❤️

Last night, members of our Celebrate Recovery at Friends Church T.E.A.M. at Friends Church had the opportunity to serve alongside volunteers from Missionview Church, helping provide a wonderful evening of food and fellowship at The Alliance Commons.

We love getting to step outside the walls of CR and serve together. Recovery is about so much more than what happens on Thursday nights, it’s about living out what God is doing in us by loving and serving others. 🙌

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of such a special night. It truly is better when we do it together! ❤️

What does it look like when God takes a life that feels completely beyond repair… and begins to restore it? ❤️

This Thursday, April is sharing her testimony at Celebrate Recovery.

Her story has some incredibly hard chapters, including addiction, abuse, loss, broken relationships, homelessness and years of feeling hopeless.

But those chapters didn’t get the final word.
Today, April is celebrating freedom, restored relationships, a life of serving others, and most importantly, a real relationship with Jesus. 🙌

She says it best:
“I never thought I would have such a beautiful, amazing life filled with God’s love and a Forever Family that I found in Celebrate Recovery.”

Maybe you need the reminder this week that your story isn’t over either.
