πŸ“ Sermon Description
In Acts 14:1–28, Paul and Barnabas continue their missionary journey with courage, perseverance, and dependence on the grace of God. As they preach the gospel in Iconium, Lystra, and Derbe, many believe, yet opposition follows them from city to city. Even after Paul is stoned and left for dead, the missionaries press on, strengthening the souls of the disciples and encouraging them to continue in the faith. This passage reminds us that the advance of the gospel often comes through hardship, but Christ faithfully builds His church through the witness of His people. Paul and Barnabas not only proclaim the good news but also return to appoint elders, establish churches, and report all that God had doneβ€”especially how He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. Through this passage, we are reminded that faithful ministry requires boldness in suffering, endurance in obedience, and trust in the sovereign grace of God to finish the work He has begun.

πŸ“ Sermon Description
In Acts 13:13–52, Paul stands in the synagogue of Pisidian Antioch and proclaims the good news of Jesus Christ as the fulfillment of God’s promises to Israel. Beginning with God’s gracious work in the history of His people, Paul shows that Jesus is the promised Savior, crucified according to God’s plan and raised from the dead in victory. Through Him, forgiveness of sins is proclaimed, and everyone who believes is freed from what the law of Moses could never accomplish.

Yet this passage also shows the divided response to the gospel. Some receive the Word with joy, while others reject it in jealousy and unbelief. As opposition rises, Paul and Barnabas boldly declare that the salvation of God is not only for the Jews but also for the Gentiles, fulfilling the Lord’s purpose to bring His light to the nations. Through this passage, we are reminded that Jesus is the center of all Scripture, the resurrection is the foundation of our hope, and the gospel must be proclaimed with boldness to all who will hear.

πŸ“ Sermon Description
In Acts 13:1–12, we see the Holy Spirit set apart Barnabas and Saul for the work of gospel mission, sending them out from the church at Antioch to proclaim the Word of God. As they preach in Cyprus, they encounter both spiritual opposition and divine power: Elymas the magician seeks to turn Sergius Paulus away from the faith, but Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, exposes his deceit and declares the judgment of God upon him. Through this passage, we are reminded that the mission of the church belongs to the Lord, the gospel advances by the power of the Spirit, and the straight paths of God will prevail over every crooked scheme of darkness.

πŸ“ Sermon Description
In Acts 12:1–25, we see both the deadly opposition of earthly powers and the unstoppable triumph of the Word of God. Herod persecutes the church, James is killed, Peter is imprisoned, and the saints gather in earnest prayer. Yet the Lord rescues Peter, humbles the pride of Herod, and causes His Word to increase and multiply. This passage reminds us that Christ reigns over kings, delivers His people according to His wisdom, judges human arrogance, and builds His church through prayer, suffering, and the advance of the gospel.
