Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened was okay. It doesn’t mean you have to forget, reconnect, or give someone access to you again.
Sometimes forgiveness simply means you’re done carrying what they did.
Holding onto anger can feel like justice, but eventually it becomes a weight we carry long after the other person has moved on. Letting go isn’t weakness—it’s choosing peace over bitterness and trusting God with the parts we can’t fix.
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32
Forgive. Set boundaries when you need to. Learn from it. And keep moving forward.
Some things belong in God’s hands, not on your heart. 🤍
