This Father's Day, wherever you land — there's room for you.

Some of us will celebrate a wonderful dad. Some of us are grieving one. Some of us never had the father we needed. And some of us are the dads still carrying the weight of where we fell short.

Father's Day is complicated. Church should be the one place where that's safe to say.

This Sunday at Gateway, we're opening Psalm 103 to meet a Father like no other — the One who stoops down to us, carries our every regret as far as the east is from the west, and knows exactly what we're made of and loves us anyway. It's the compassion we all need.

Whatever kind of father you had, or have been, come as you are. We'd love to save you a seat.

Men of Gateway —

Pull up a chair and grab breakfast with us — we gather the first Saturday of every month (holidays excepted), 8:30–10:30 AM, at Gateway Church, 7535 Mission St., Daly City.

This time we're digging into one of Jesus' most personal conversations — John 14:15–21 — and one honest question: What does it actually mean to love God?

Most of us would say we love God. But Jesus puts it plainly: "If you love me, keep my commandments." Not just a feeling. Not just showing up on Sunday. He ties love to how we actually live. That's a gut-check for every one of us — and here's the good news: we don't do it on our own. Jesus promised His Spirit to help us live it out.

So come hungry — for the food, and for something deeper than the same old routine with God. Bring a buddy. No Bible expertise required, just an open seat next to you and an appetite.
