I pray this finds all having a blessed day in the Lord. It sure has been a busy week getting back from vacation but a blessed week as God continues to move.
We began the beginning stages of the Clintwood plant. I was able to make many contacts in Clintwood and begin talking and sharing with many people. God opened many doors throughout the week for me. On Friday we were blessed to partner with Mt. Rachel from Georgia to do our first community blitz on Clintwood buy giving away free hot dog dinners, school supplies, and sharing about the new life group we are going to have. God blessed and we were able to reach a lot of people, and most importantly, dialogue with people about the Lord, the life group we are starting, and people seem receptive. God moved and answered prayers there.
We have also secured our meeting location for the next month at the local hotel. We will be meeting in the breakfast/dining area of the hotel for our life group and we are able to get the conference room to do our children’s ministry. God answered prayers there. We are praying this location will hold up for a while until we are able to find and secure a more permanent location of meeting. We will begin our first life group meeting at the Clintwood location this upcoming Sunday evening August 7th so I ask that you pray for us and for this plant.
This Sunday marks a big day for Grace Fellowship as we will celebrate our 7th year in Haysi as a plant. It is so hard to believe that it has been 7 years already but at the same time it seems like only yesterday. We will be having a big celebration service Sunday and cannot wait to reflect and remember all God has done while sharing the vision of what He has in store for us.
We will be having our vision trip this Thursday for anyone or any church wanting to partner with the Clintwood church plant. If you would like to be a part of this this it’s not to late. You can register on the SBCV website and contact me for details. We are going to need partners with teams, financial help, donations, and many other ways to help us with the Clintwood plant. We have so many ministry opportunities and need teams to help fund them and pull them off so if you are interested don’t hesitate to contact me and jump into this mission opportunity.
Thank you for all your prayers and support!!
In Christ,
Pastor Jeremiah
