Your circle matters.

The people you surround yourself with matters.

Friends are great, but you need a core group of people that go beyond get togethers and Sunday morning greetings.

You need more than cookouts and Saturdays on the lake.

You need more than birthday parties and slumber parties.

You need more than just “doing life together.”

You need friends who know how to go to battle with you.

You need people in your life who will travail and contend with you.

You need friends who know how to do hard and holy things.

You need people who will be in the trenches with you.

You need those who will tear off a roof for you.

Your inner circle needs to be the ones who have
some grit and whole lot of grace.

You need to surround yourself with intercessors.

You need people who know how to touch heaven standing right beside you.

You need likeminded people around you who know how to tarry in an upper room.

You need the ones who will lift up a shout until the walls come falling down.

You need the watchmen and the gap fillers.

You need the curse breakers and the demon slayers.

You need the anointed and appointed.

Go ahead and have friends.

There is nothing wrong with enjoying this life with others.

But, you better make sure your core group is your warring group.

Iron sharpens iron, but iron rubbed continually against a lesser metal tarnishes the iron eventually.

Who you surround yourself with matters.
