God didn't call the qualified. He qualified the broken.
Micah 4:6-7 stops me every time I read it.
God looks out over the lame, the outcast, the afflicted, and says "I will assemble them." Not dismiss them. Not overlook them. Assemble them.
Then He does something, only God can do. He takes the ones the world wrote off and makes them a remnant. A strong nation. A movement!

That's the gospel. That's recovery. That's what happens when people stop hiding their pain and start letting God use it.

The lame become the legacy. The outcast becomes the overcomer. And the Lord reigns over all of it, forever.
