Severe flooding has affected communities across Indiana, including areas where several Church of the Brethren congregations and Bethany Theological Seminary are located. Brethren Disaster Ministries is in communication with district disaster coordinators in both South/Central Indiana District and Northern Indiana District and is ready to support both districts and impacted congregations as needs emerge.

Please join us in prayer for those who have been displaced or experienced damage, for first responders and volunteers, and for communities beginning to assess needs and recover.

Thank God for the righteousness that we now have in Christ and for the complete righteousness that we will have through all eternity in His presence. Pray that this great hope will provide greater freedom for the Church in our daily living. "For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness." Galatians 5:5
