Our President, Rev. Samuel C. Tolbert, Jr., DMin, met with His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., President of the Republic of Liberia, during a special meeting in Washington, DC, on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

During the meeting, President Tolbert presented President Boakai with an engraved Bible as a special expression of fellowship and partnership. The visit included breakfast in President Boakai’s suite, followed by a meeting with members of his cabinet and Bishop P. Manasseh Conto of Liberia. Discussions focused on renewing the historic mission partnership established between NBCA and Liberia in 1950.

This significant meeting opened the door for renewed collaboration and expanded mission opportunities. Exciting plans are now taking shape as NBCA and Liberian leaders explore ways to strengthen this longstanding partnership and advance ministry and global impact.
