“Suffering has been taken up to glory. In Jesus, God has entered our condition all the way down—pain, betrayal, abandonment, injustice, death. And in the resurrection and ascension, the Father has not erased that story; he has exalted the One who carried it. The scars are now on the throne. Bring him the doubts, the fears, the numbness, the anger. He can handle your real heart.”
