The Diocese of Mid-America is a diocese of the Reformed Episcopal Church, a founding member of the province of the Anglican Church in North America. It currently includes 35 parishes within the states of Arkansas, California, Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin. The Bishop Ordinary of the DMA is The Most Rev. Sutton who is also the Presiding Bishop of the REC. The Suffragan Bishop is The Rt. Walter R.

Christmas Lessons & Carols is one of the most anticipated services of the year at the Cathedral.

Through Scripture and song, featuring Dallas Symphony Orchestra artists, we trace the story of God’s saving work and prepare ourselves for the celebration of Christ’s birth.

Join us on December 21, doors open at 6:00 PM, concert starts at 6:30 PM with a reception afterward for fellowship and community.

The 24th annual Men’s Retreat just concluded in Concan, Texas. Men from our REC parishes in Alpine, Corpus Christi, Katy, Houston, and several guests from out-of-state attended. Bishop John Boonzaaijer, Missionary Bishop for Cuba and South America, from Chapel of the Cross in Dallas also came. Bishop Sutton lead the special lessons taught each evening of the retreat. They can be viewed on Holy Cross, Alpine’s page or their YouTube channel.
