Preparing to protect one another is an act of love! Smith Chapel A.M.E. Church invites churches and community members to come together for Church Safety Training facilitated by Officer Wendy Lary of the Dallas Police Department.

Bring your ministry leaders, safety teams, ushers, greeters, and anyone ready to help create a safer, more welcoming place to worship. Let’s build our confidence, strengthen our awareness, and prepare to respond when it matters most!

☕ 8:30 AM: Meet & Greet with Continental Breakfast

Proposed topics include church safety awareness, active shooter preparedness, bomb threats and suspicious items, and responding to hostile or disruptive individuals. Final topics are subject to facilitator confirmation.

✅ Individual community members: $5 per person upon entry (cash only)
✅ Church groups: $50 for up to 15 people
✅ Additional group attendees: $5 per person
