VP is hosting an open call to all acts GRINDCORE/ THRASH/ DOOM/ POWER VIOLENCE/ GOTH/ DEATH METAL/ INDUSTRIAL/ AND LOVERS OF ALL THINGS BRUTAL AND MACABRE. RIP WARE:WOLF:HAUS
With the upcoming fall season fast approaching it has become evident that things are changing. Our cultural landscape here in Dallas is on the rise and it is safe to say that the DIY scene that WARE:WOLF:HAUS thrived in is becoming recognized and properly discussed thanks to hard working cultural renegades. Since its hush hush first music show in the summer of 2013 through its last show in May 2014 that welcomed Los Angeles based artist Julie Weitz, WARE:WOLF:HAUS has been at the forefront of injecting Dallas with much needed alternative programming. In its single year of operation WARE:WOLF:HAUS hosted 12 shows which includes the first ever THRWD FEST, multiple musical acts such as DEF RAIN, HEX CULT and CUTTER as well as the conceptual fashion show FATALITY OF AN IMMORTAL and the critically acclaimed THOR JOHNSON solo show TRIGGER WARNING, among others. WARE:WOLF:HAUS, in conjunction with VICE PALACE, was the birthplace of Dallas’ first BAND IN RESIDENCE featuring GEORGE QUARTZ and showcased the now three legendary performances that was collectively witnessed by over 450 people. WARE:WOLF:HAUS has served its purpose and is now being laid to rest. WARE:WOLF:HAUS would like to thank you for your interest in the provocative, challenging and downright strange happenings that have occurred there and send all of its gratitude to the artists, musicians and supporters that made WARE:WOLF:HAUS possible. VICE PALACE will carry on as a roving curatorial exercise and be host to select upcoming shows.Thank you for your time and energy.
