Great Palm Sunday today at Lawson. Lords Supper, cool craft for the kids, good crowd, visitors, and even an old friend we haven't seen in almost 25 years.

Raising a child up to love the Lord and dedicating your life to do so is a very serious commitment. This past week Juliana dedicated her life in such a way in regard to her gift, sweet Raylee.

We are blessed as a church to do our part in supporting Juliana as she raises Raylee to love the Lord. We were blessed to have Jennifer and Greg supportive grandparents to stand with Juliana.

At Lawson we count our blessings and are filled with joy when God presents us with such an important and meaningful day!

The best of days are baptism days. Sunday was such a day; we were all blessed as Eimy followed through with believers baptism with friends and family present.

It has been a joy to watch her mature over the last many years and we look forward to seeing what God will do in her life.

The reception was very nice and I loved the flowers.
Looking forward to Baby/Family Dedication this Sunday.

A several year-old tradition at Lawson is our children making Valentine boxes for the adults to place cards, candy, and words of encouragement in each Valentine's Day.

The church does a wonderful job of encouraging the next generation. I assure you they will remember the little white church where they received Valentines cards from folks they did not know very well but loved them none the less.

The church being the church! It is a Valentine to my heart!

A great group of folks came to cook and eat breakfast for Gracie's birthday several weeks ago. We have a great time.

Of course, we celebrated Gracie on her 20th...but we also celebrated the only church she has ever known. The place that prayed for her each of the 28 days she was in the hospital at first and then for her heart surgery.

The place that treats her and loves her in an extra special way. They have known her for life-she is not just someone at Lawson-she is someone special.

Kim and I could not be more grateful for the place where God placed us for the 'Gracie' years.

Bible Study/Sunday School is the lifeblood of any church. A place to study the bible with others, pray for one another, and get to know God and each person more intimately.

It is the teaching, reaching, and ministering part of the church. I love Sunday School and always have, and I love those who teach and support it at Lawson with their weekly attendance.

What a nice weekend. Our Adult Sunday School class had a great party and our young people started working on their presentation next week.

This morning, the crowd was larger than normal in worship and the Lord blessed us with new members.

Advent has been a nice emphasis and December is off to a great start. Looking forward to the next ten days!
