Genesis 22 Is a passage where Abraham had to pass the test called faith. He would take his only begotten son, his child Isaac; the Laden and lay him on the altar as a sacrifice. Abraham's willingness & obedience would cause God to speak out of heaven ' Abraham! ABRAHAM"! "Do your son no harm"! Now I know!" Because God knew he could trust Abraham to give his only begotten son, he would pass the test!
The bible says there appeared a ways off a ramcaught in a thicket(briar thorn) which would be a fore-shadow of Jesus .therefore we see where God would set it up in the OT to meet his people in the NT through his only begotten son Jesus! Caught in a thicket which was about the same positioning on Calvary where The Lamb's of God the one would take our place.

According to research a baby lamb grows up to be a Ram! He is Alpha & Omega! He went ahead of us to be The sacrificial Lamb (a grown up male lamb), the one who took away the sin of this world. Hallelujah!
