OurCalling is excited to host All Saints Dallas for a Serve Day on August 20. They can host up to 15 people for this Serve Day from 8 AM to 1 PM. There are five potential areas for volunteers to serve, but we will focus All Saints Dallas volunteers on the kitchen, women's center, and guest engagement. All Saints Dallas is excited to welcome Kendrick Banks to our community as Director of Spiritual Formation! In this role, Kendrick will lead our Re-Forming Faith and Alpha courses, and he will meet with congregants to provide spiritual direction and pastoral care.

He and his wife, Amelia, operate a therapy clinic that serves individuals with disabilities, offering spiritual/emotional care and counseling through that work. For more than a decade, Kendrick served as a church planter with the Soma Family of Churches where he also served as a leader for the South Central region of North America. 

Kendrick has a BA in psychology and an MDiv with a specialization in mentoring, and he has continued his education with training in Narrative-Focused Trauma Care from the Allender Center. Kendrick's experience as a pastor working at the intersection of psychology and story-formed theology has prepared him well for this new role.

For Michael McGee, the blessings of becoming a deacon at All Saints Dallas have been rooted not only in the role but in the relationships. As he shares, “What’s been rich about it, I think more than anything, is people getting to know me, really observing me, affirming a call in me and then being able to watch me.”
