Becoming a Christian doesn’t mean the trauma you experienced before Jesus suddenly disappears. Sometimes those wounds follow us into our walk with Him, and the parts of our story we haven’t surrendered can continue to shape how we see ourselves, others, and even God.
But Jesus wants access to those places too.
Are you letting Him into the rooms you won’t let anyone else enter?
Don’t let the little boy or little girl you once were continue to run your life. It’s time to remind that younger version of you: you are safe, you are loved, and you are not alone.
We have to start believing what God says about us instead of what our trauma has taught us to believe.
Unlock those doors for Jesus. Let Him meet you in the places that still hurt, because what you’ve walked through doesn’t have to be wasted. God can redeem your story and use what He has brought you through to help someone else find freedom too.
Sometimes, to move forward, we have to let Jesus take us back.
It’s time to stop letting the wounds of your past define your future and allow the love of the Father to speak louder than the pain.
Open the door. Let Jesus in. 💛
