We're Worshiping on the Property Again This Sunday! 🙌

Join us this Sunday, October 18, at 10:30 AM as we gather on the Reliant property for worship and BAPTISMS! We can't wait to celebrate what God is doing!

🚗 IMPORTANT PARKING UPDATE: This Sunday, everyone will need to park on the Reliant property instead of at the school. There is a cheer tournament taking place at Paulding County High School, and the school parking lot will be full.

🪑 A FEW THINGS TO KNOW:

Seating will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own chair and even a cozy blanket!

Dress warmly! It may be a little chilly.

Wear comfortable shoes since we'll be gathering outdoors on the property.

We are looking forward to another special Sunday of worship, fellowship, and celebrating lives changed through Jesus Christ!

Bring your family, invite a friend, and come worship with us!

We can't wait to see you there!

There are moments you get to witness that you know you’ll remember for a long time.

Watching the leaders I’ve learned from over the years step away from the stage, pick up a towel, and kneel down to serve the people they lead was one of those moments.

What made it so powerful wasn’t that they laid down their titles. It was that they understood what their titles were for.

Jesus didn’t stop being the leader when He washed His disciples’ feet. He showed us that true leadership doesn’t mean being served, it means using the position God has given you to serve others.

Pick up the towel before you pick up the title.

Getting to witness this was beautiful. Getting to be part of it was even more meaningful. And getting to capture something this powerful is something I’m genuinely grateful for.

After learning under these leaders for years, watching them put this message into practice was a pretty incredible thing to witness.

Prayer isn’t powerful because of the words we say or because prayer itself has some power of its own. Prayer is powerful because of the Person we’re praying to.

We don’t pray because we’re simply “people who pray.” We pray because we’re people who know Jesus.

Prayer is relationship. It’s how we talk to Him, listen for His direction, surrender our burdens, and draw near to the One who holds all power.

The power isn’t in the prayer itself.
The power is in Jesus.

So we don’t put our faith in prayer, we put our faith in the One who hears us when we pray.

Jesus showed us that true leadership doesn’t begin with a title, it begins with a towel.

In John 13, Jesus knelt down and washed the feet of the very people He was leading. He didn’t become less of a leader by serving them. He showed us what leadership was always meant to look like.

Servant leadership means being secure enough to kneel, humble enough to serve, and intentional enough to help others grow.

The goal isn’t to have more people serving us. It’s to become the kind of leader who serves in a way that teaches others to serve too.

So this week, ask yourself:

Who is God asking me to pick up the towel for?

Pick up the towel before you pick up the title.
