Hey friends — you may notice some changes to the branding and name around my content over the next few days, and I wanted to share honestly about why.
Due to an ongoing trademark dispute, I’ve made the decision to transition the public-facing branding of the ministry. While I can’t speak to every detail publicly, I do want you to know this wasn’t a light or easy decision, and it’s honestly been emotionally exhausting behind the scenes.
But after a lot of prayer, counsel, and reflection, I’ve also realized something beautiful in it.
For a long time, you’ve known me through the phrase “Bible Nerd.” And I still love that—because it was never just a brand name. It describes a kind of person. A way of loving God’s Word.
That name isn’t something I created or something I own. It’s something we share. It belongs to a whole community of people who care deeply about Scripture.
And because of that, it’s actually not the most faithful thing for me to let that function as my personal name or identity online.
It’s bigger than me.
So instead of trying to carry that as my name, I want to honor it for what it really is- it is who we are.
And I want to step forward and take responsibility for what God is doing in, through, and despite me… under the name He actually gave me:
Faith Womack.
Not to make much of myself, but to steward this work clearly and honestly, without blurring the line between what belongs to a community and what I’ve been called to.
The mission hasn’t changed. If anything, it’s only grown.
We’re still going deep. We’re still loving God with our whole hearts, minds, and lives. We’re still building tools and teachings that help you engage Scripture more fully.
This just gives it a clearer home.
