We have been watching the forecast closely, and given the recent developments and prediction of inclement weather, our Discipleship NextGen team has decided to cancel this year's Preschool & Children's Ministers' Retreat in order to keep everyone safe. It appears that this winter storm will be widespread and will impact travel plans significantly.

Know that we will greatly miss this time with you this year! For many of you, this would have been your first time to join us. Please make plans to join us in 2027 for next year's retreat.

And.....mark your calendars for Conclave NextGen on October 5-6 at FBC Bryan!

An opportunity for gathering with other ministers for the purpose of fellowship, networking, information and spiritual refreshment.

This annual retreat is for preschool & children’s ministers serving in the local church. This year’s theme is “We are Family”. It is such an honor to celebrate one of our own today! Dr. Sarah Johnson received her terminal degree from Dallas Baptist University. Sarah serves in the Center for Church Health at Texas Baptists, on the Discipleship & NextGen team. To say we are proud of her is an understatement! Please join me, and our team, as we congratulate Sarah for this major accomplishment!

Our Texas Baptists Preschool & Children's Ministers' Retreat will be held on January 26-27, 2026 at Summers Mill Retreat Center in Belton, Texas. Our theme this year is "We Are Family" with Mary Ann Bradberry (Retired Executive Director of the Texas Baptists Church Weekday Education Association) serving as our keynote speaker and Phil Miller (Director of the Center for Church Health) as our Bible study leader.

Worship will be led by 317 Collective, and our special guest this year will be Dr. Katie Fruge, who serves as the Director of the Center for Cultural Engagement for Texas Baptists.

We look forward to seeing you in January!
