REVIVE was established to meet the unique needs of today's young people of Native American communities as it regards to seeking and establishing a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to RESTORE hope, REGAIN a new life with Christ and GIVE them the Good News of Christ, His Kingdom and the biblical purposes of His Church. The goal of REVIVE is reach out to today's young people an
d show them the love of Jesus and bring them the Good News of Jesus Christ. This could be through outreaches and/or mission trips. When you experience what life is like on the reservation, you begin to see how isolated the people are as a whole; you begin to see what the young people start to dabble in, you begin to see how the young people are longing for hope, for love, for purpose. So many of them feel as if they will never be able to leave the reservation, they feel worthless, and often feel as if their life doesn't matter. Su***de, alcohol, drug, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse are just a few examples of what today's Native American young people have been through, have gone through and are going through. Life on "Rez" as we call it, is difficult, it's overwhelming BUT it's in those moments we begin to seek something, someone who can help us and show us a way out. I believe with all my heart that REVIVE will be the one to reach out to the young people of Native American communities and lead many souls to Christ. For such a time as this....the Lord is sending us. The Lord is making a way as I type this. The Lord's Hands are on this ministry, the officers, the sponsors, the members, the university.
