I send an open invitation to everyone to help celebrate a monumental moment in the life of Ellis County at The Heights - Ellis County Family Resources ribbon cutting. We are a multiagency campus dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence find their way to safety and find the light of hope. I am honored to not only to have a partnership ministry there- Soul Flight Ministries- but to work with The Heights and the amazing staff as well. My family was blessed to go to Greece for our summer vacation. This is “Mars Hill” in the Acropolis of Athens Greece, where Paul delivered one of his most powerful sermons in Acts 17:16-34. The sign that I am making with my hand belongs to those ordained within the Apostolic Succession. Paul himself would have given this sign during blessings. The two front fingers represent the dual nature of Christ- purely God and purely man. The three fingers together represent the Holy Trinity- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
It was truly wonderful and humbling experience knowing that I stand on the shoulders of the patriarchs of the Christian faith. 🙏🏻
